Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and Happy Halloween!! Who's dressing up tonight and taking the kids trick or treating? Maybe you plan to stay home and hand out candy? If I wasn't working tonight I'd be heading to a haunted house. I LOVE going to haunted houses but sadly I was unable to go this year :( It's ok though because I got to do a few other things that were just as fun. I really do hate the fact Halloween is on a Monday this year since I have to work, but it will be fun to see who shows up to work tonight in costume. LOL For today's must have Monday post I decided to choose some last minute Halloween items that you need before heading out tonight. These are super cute and I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. So, what are they and where can you get them??

Must Haves
1-Blood splatter nails (Etsy, $11)
2-Cell hone case (Asos, $8.50)
3-Coffee mug (Amazon, $22)
4-Skull Earrings (Amazon, $21)
5-Leggings (Zazzle, $63)

Everyone needs awesome nails for Halloween. Don't forget to get your mani before tonight or you can grab a set of fake nails and do your own mani. These fake nails are perfect if you have a scary costume or if you just want to gross people out. There are thousands of different Halloween manis to choose from so you can always opt for something cute as well. I love changing up my cell phone case from season to season or in this case by holiday. I think this particular case is too funny and I'd love to have it. I'm sure you can find many different types of festive cell phone cases at a store near you. This coffee mug is everything! I think I'm going to start collecting cute mugs with funny sayings like this one because it's always entertaining for your guests when they ask for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate ;) Your Halloween outfit isn't complete without a pair of skull earrings. These are too cute but are unfortunately sold out. I did see a similar pair of these at my local Walmart so you could try there. Halloween leggings are so cute!! I have no idea why I don't own a pair. I'll have to buy some on sale after Halloween and wear them next year. This particular pair are too adorable. I love stripes and the orange and black just screams Halloween. These are definitely a must!! You can shop all of these items HERE.

Aren't these items awesome? Which one is your favorite? What's your last minute must have item that you'll be rushing to the store for later this afternoon?? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to share this post with all your friends who love Halloween. I hope you have an amazing night! Happy shopping and Happy Halloween :)

3 Ways To Add A Bit Of Halloween To Your Outfit

Happy Friday everyone!! I can't believe the weekend is finally here. Even though I only worked 4 days this week, the days seemed to drrraaaggg on. But, it's Friday and now I have to get everything ready for my bonfire/Halloween party that I'm throwing tomorrow night. So much to do and so little time to get it done. Who knows what that's like? I'm sure every woman out there knows exactly what I'm talking about which gave me the idea for this post. Who doesn't have a Halloween costume yet because you can't seem to find the time to go get one? Who doesn't really have anywhere to go to wear a costume but still would like to participate in the holiday although you're schedule is a little hectic? If you answered "me" to either question then why not just throw on a cute Halloween statement piece to show a little festiveness for the holiday?! I have come up with 3 examples of how you can do that with the outfit you're already planning to wear on Halloween anyway.

#1-Halloween scarf
Fall is the perfect season for wearing scarves so why not throw on a cute Halloween scarf to celebrate the holiday. This particular scarf I found online through my Polyvore app and I think it's the most adorable scarf ever. I also saw an orange pumpkin scarf at Ross the other day but unfortunately I didn't get it...maybe next year. I decided to pair this scarf with distressed skinny jeans, a black turtleneck, and some cute black boots. This is definitely an outfit I would wear on a day to day basis and the scarf adds the right amount of "Halloween" to it without going overboard. You can shop this entire look HERE.

#2-Halloween jewelry
Jewelry is the perfect way to make a statement. You can go subtle and wear something small or be bold and wear a huge piece. I chose this super cute Halloween charm bracelet that I found online to share with you. It's more on the subtle side so if you work in an office and don't want to be too crazy with your accessories then this example would be perfect for you. You could also go with a cute necklace and some earrings as well. I decided to pair this charm bracelet with a simple black dress and some black boots. This is the perfect outfit for the office in a simple neutral color that will work with any type of accessory you choose to wear. You can shop this look HERE.

#3-Halloween headband
Well technically this headband isn't Halloween, but it's cat ears and they're black and since black cats have always represented Halloween I decided to pick these cuties for my example. Not to mention, cats are super popular right now so anything you can find that's cat related is in. I paired this adorable headband with a cute black skirt, white eyelash t-shirt, and the cutest cat flats I have ever seen. How awesome is this outfit?! It says "I'm celebrating Halloween" but it doesn't scream it at people. I would certainly wear this outfit to the office or just out on the town for a day of shopping. You can find this entire ensemble HERE.

Who's planning to wear cute Halloween accessories instead of a costume this year?? I already wore my costume but you better believe I'm gonna snag a few cute accessories to sport for my party tomorrow. Which accessory was your favorite? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who might want to wear some cute Halloween accessories this year. I hope you have an amazing weekend and happy shopping :)

Colorful Scarf

Happy hump day everyone!! Only two more nights of work for me then I have to start getting my house ready for the awesome Halloween party I'm hosting on Saturday. I'm so excited :) I was also thrilled that Texas had some nice fall weather this past weekend. I'm so tired of all this heat and not being able to wear all the cute scarves I bought recently. But, last Friday I took full advantage of the cooler weather and broke out this beautiful multi-colored scarf that I've had for about a month now. My sweetie and I were traveling to Austin so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to wear the cute outfit I had in mind to go with this awesome scarf!! So, where did I find this scarf and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Scarf
This scarf wasn't something I purchased on accident. I actually went on eBay looking for an infinity scarf with some orange in it because of my new neon orange Converse sneakers that my dad got me for my birthday this past August. I knew I didn't want a solid orange scarf but something with lots of beautiful colors in it that had orange as one of the colors. The reason for this is because I want to be able to wear this scarf with many different outfits and because neon orange is so hard to match. One could argue that this scarf doesn't exactly match the shoes I'm wearing and I'd have to agree, but I wanted it that way. Had I purchased a neon orange scarf I would've been very limited on what I could wear with it and now I have multiple options. This beautiful scarf has a mix of orange, blue, and burgundy to only name a few colors. I love it because I actually have a cute pair of burgundy booties that will go perfect with this scarf as well and for only $10 I thought it was a steal! Unfortunately you can no longer find this beauty on eBay but I've linked a similar scarf for you below. So, how did I end up styling this scarf and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I wanted to keep my outfit super comfortable and casual since I'd be spending a lot of time in the car (Austin is about a 3 hour drive from my house one way) so I went with a super soft and warm black sweater, my light blue Hollister jeans, and my new neon orange Converse sneakers. I love this sweater! It's extremely soft and I was very warm and comfortable in it. You can find this cutie at Walmart for less than $10. These jean leggings are the perfect jeans for me. I think Hollister jeans are quickly becoming my favorite and now I need a few more pairs. LOL I have been wanting a pair of neon orange Converse sneakers since I first saw them at Journeys a while ago. This color is more summer than fall so I am happy to say my dad got them on sale for $39 instead of the usual $50 that Converse sneakers sell for. I love the way this outfit came together and that my sneakers stood out above everything else :) If you'd like to style this scarf differently then the sky is the limit. I think next time I wear it I'll pair it with a black dress and some burgundy booties which will bring it from casual to dressy and show just how versatile this cutie really is. You can also wear this scarf with skinny jeans and booties and of course many different other outfit combinations. Let your imagination run wild with this one. LOL

Shop This Style: Scarf / Sweater / Jeans / Sneakers

Have you been able to wear your fall scarves where you live? What's your favorite fall scarf right now? Did you like how I styled this particular scarf? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this beautiful scarf. I hope you have an amazing hump day and happy shopping :)

Must Have Monday

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I had a blast at the Texas Renaissance Festival with my sweetie and a few of his friends and now I'm looking forward to the bonfire I'm hosting this coming Saturday. Hopefully this week flies by so I can get to my weekend again already. LOL  Can you believe Halloween is only 1 week away? It seems like just yesterday I was saying we still had a month left to pick out costumes and get everything ready, but now it's down to only one week! If you're like me and celebrating Halloween this weekend instead of on the actual day then you have even less time to get ready. Have you picked out your costume already? I've decided to dedicate this week's must have Monday post to Halloween costumes that I think you'll love and aren't so popular that everyone will be wearing them. I don't know about you but I hate when I see 5 other girls wearing the same thing as me. These costumes are super cute and would make anyone a great costume for Halloween.

Must Have Items

1-Zombie schoolgirl (Very.co, $43)
2-Harley Quinn (Musotica, $74)
3-Pirate (Musotica, $178)
4-Witch (Rosewe, $40)
5-Sally (Walmart, $30)

If you're looking for something a little scary for Halloween then a zombie schoolgirl is a great way to go. You not only look super sexy in this outfit but you get to wear scary makeup and walk around scaring people ;) If you love Harley Quinn but don't want to wear the popular costume from the movie that every other girl will be wearing, then this cute black and white costume is a great alternative. For those of you who didn't know, Harley Quinn actually has multiple different outfits that you can wear as a costume this Halloween. You can wear a mask with this one too :) If you want to be a pirate this year then you should have no problem finding a pirate costume as they are everywhere. This particular costume is Blackbeards first mate and I love the lace detail and how feminine it is. You will look very beautiful and sexy wearing this adorable blue and black pirate costume ;) Who wants to be a witch for Halloween? A witch is probably the most over done costume in my opinion so if you want to pull it off you need to have awesome accessories like the really cool looking crooked broom in this picture. I love how this witch costume is plain black itself because it's easier to accessorize. Go elaborate with your makeup and carry some awesome accessories and this costume will be a hit :) If your favorite Halloween movie of all time is A Nightmare Before Christmas then why not dress up like Sally?? You can find this adorable costume online at Walmart and the makeup will be extremely fun to do :) All of these costumes are cute and I'd wear them all especially the pirate one...that's my favorite. You can shop all of these amazing costumes HERE.

What do you plan to wear for Halloween? Would you wear one of these costumes? Which one is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to share this post with all your friends who might need help deciding on a costume this year. I hope you have an awesome Monday and happy shopping :)

8 Ways To Dress For Your Favorite Fall Activities

Who's ready for Halloween? I can't believe it's less than two weeks away! If you're like me and you have to work Halloween night then you'll be celebrating a little early...like the next two weekends actually ;) So, what are your plans for Halloween and the fall season in general? This weekend I'm going to the Texas Renaissance Festival and then next weekend I'm having a bonfire/Halloween party at my house. I'm so excited for both events and I can't wait until they get here. The biggest question I always have when planning an event is what the heck am I gonna wear?? Maybe that's just the shopaholic fashionista in me coming out, but I'm sure sometimes you find yourself wondering the same thing. To help you out I've put together 8 outfits that will be perfect for all those fun fall activities that you have coming up. Each outfit represents a different activity, but you can always mix and match each one to go with your own personal style. So, what are these awesome outfit and activity ideas???

#1-Scary movie night with the girls
Who doesn't love watching scary movies? Ok so maybe they're not for everyone, but I'm sure you watch at least one during Halloween. Personally, I have a few classics that I have to watch every year including A Nightmare On Elm Street and Carrie only to name a couple. This year why not go out to a scary movie with your girlfriends. I'm sure there are a few theaters near you that will be showing some for Halloween. For this fun activity I picked the cutest black and white striped cardigan with a black undershirt and paired it with black distressed skinny jeans and black booties. I love this outfit because it's classic black and white and not too dressy but still super cute in case you happen to run into a cutie at the movies ;) Plus you'll want to dress in layers because it gets really cold in the theater. You can shop this look HERE.

#2-Fall festival
I love going to fall festivals! They are so fun and the food is always delicious...yes I go for the food mostly. LOL This year my company is hosting a family fall fun day but unfortunately it's the same day as my bonfire so I won't be able to make it. Hopefully I get to make it out to the local pumpkin patch at the very least. If I was going to the festival I'd wear something similar to this outfit. The color orange is perfect for fall so I chose a super cute orange turtleneck sweater and paired it with some cute high waisted skinny jeans, brown booties, and an adorable striped purse in beautiful fall colors. This outfit screams fall and looks really comfortable. You can shop this look HERE.

#3-Bonfire
I'm not sure if this is just a southern thing or if people in the north have these, but bonfires are one of my favorite fall activities. I'm so ready for the one I'll be hosting next weekend. I'm ready for the weenie roasting, the toasted marshmallows, and of course sitting around the fire telling stories and just enjoying the company of good friends. This outfit is very similar to what I plan to wear actually. I love oversized sweaters especially for an outdoor event on a cold night so I chose this comfy looking blue sweater and paired it with some dark blue skinny jeans and brown casual boots. I LOVE these shoes for fall and winter. My boyfriend thinks they're ugly but they are so cozy and comfy he can just get over it. LOL You can shop this look HERE.

#4-Haunted tour or scavenger hunt
I've read a couple of fellow bloggers' posts who have suggested a couples scavenger hunt for the fall and I'm totally down. If you live in a city that has haunted tours of the town then you could do that instead, but my small little town doesn't have any type of tour like this so I'll go with the scavenger hunt...if I can ever get my boyfriend to participate. LOL For this activity I'd wear an outfit like the one I chose. I love plaid for fall. This shirt is so cute and would be perfect for a day or night spent walking around town. I paired this cutie with some dark blue skinny jeans and a pair of tan boots. While I love wearing heeled booties for the fall I wouldn't wear them when I'm doing a lot of walking so these cute boots are a better choice and they look just as cute. You can shop this look HERE.

#5-Fall Party
Who has a fall party to go to? I love getting invited to parties and I really try to make each and every one especially during this time of the year. There's just something about going to a party in a comfortable sweater and hopefully getting a caramel apple that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This year I'm throwing my own party in the form of a bonfire so I'll be dressing down, but if I were going to someone else's party I'd wear something similar to this adorable outfit. I love thick cable knit sweaters and I really wish it was cold enough here in Texas to be able to wear them more, but I would certainly wear this to an indoor fall party. I paired this beautiful ivory cable knit sweater with some skinny jeans, a pair of heeled lace up booties, and a really cute purse. I love wearing heeled booties and since I'd be at a party where I could sit down if I needed to I'd break them out :) You can shop this look HERE.

#6-Rock Concert
I chose this activity because it's one of my favorite things to do all year long but especially during the fall when the weather cools down seeing as most of the concerts I attend are outside. I'm a metal head at heart so going to see my favorite metal band is such an amazing experience. There's a type of energy in the crowd that's hard to explain unless you've ever been to one. This is probably the only thing my best friend and I have in common so it's always nice to get together with her and rock out :) I chose this outfit because it's something I'd definitely wear to a rock concert and so would my bestie. An awesome skull t-shirt is a must so I chose this black one and paired it with some black skinny jeans and black Dr. Martens. The difference between me and my bestie is I'd only wear this to the concert and she would wear this every day. LOL You can shop this look HERE.

#7-Haunted house
Haunted houses are a must for me during October and I'm actually bummed that I'm not going to make it to one this year :( I know they're not for the faint of heart, but just remember they are actors and they can't touch you. This always keeps me from getting too scared. The only time they get me is when they jump out of nowhere. That will scare the crap out of just about anyone. LOL I chose the following outfit because it resembles something I've worn to a haunted house in the past. I love this long sleeve Halloween shirt. It looks super comfortable and it's really cute. I paired it with medium blue distressed skinny jeans and some black converse sneakers. Please do NOT wear open toe shoes to a haunted house. I have made that mistake and it cost me my big toenail (I got startled and ran into the back of the guy in front of me who was wearing combat boots) so take my advice and wear a comfy pair of shoes like these cute sneakers. You can shop this look HERE.

#8-Date night
If you don't really celebrate Halloween or plan to go to any festivals or other fall activities, I'm sure you will at least have a date night. Heck, if I was off on Halloween night I'd be doing a date night with my sweetie because I'm too old to trick or treat. HAHA. Date night can be anything you want it to be but I love to eat so I'd want dinner. When my sweetie takes me out to a nice dinner I like to wear outfits that resemble this one. Black is a great color for fall because you can wear all your wonderful printed scarves with it and not have to worry about it not matching. I chose this pretty little black long sleeve dress that is perfect for fall and paired it with these amazing knee high black boots and of course a plaid blanket scarf. I am OBSESSED with scarves this year so this is the perfect outfit for my date nights to come :) You can shop this look HERE

Which of these activities would you like to do for this fall season? How would you dress for it? Would you wear the outfit I chose for your favorite activity? How would you dress differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends so they too will know what to wear for their upcoming fall activities. I hope you have an amazing weekend and happy shopping :)

Mixed Print Peasant Top

Happy hump day everyone!! It's so hard to believe this week is already halfway over, but it is :) I'm so excited today because tonight is my last night of work for the week then I'm off for the next four days!! Yaaayyy. So, I'm ready to get this day started by sharing with you a gorgeous top I found while out shopping a couple of weekends ago. This is the perfect top for fall and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. So, where did I find this amazing top and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Top
I spotted this beautiful peasant top while shopping at Francesca's a couple of weekends ago and I knew I had to have it especially when I saw the price was less than $40. I love how there are three different prints on this top but somehow they all come together quite nicely. Normally I don't like mixing prints, but when the mixed prints are all on the same article of clothing I'll make an exception. Not only are the prints mixed but there are also three different colors on this top too which makes styling it a breeze. This is a great top for fall for a couple of reasons. First off this fall season is all about floral and this top has two different floral patterns on it. And second, this top has longer sleeves but isn't too thick so it's perfect for the slightly cooler temperatures of fall. Unfortunately this color and pattern is no longer available online so I linked a similar top for you or you can take a shopping trip to Francesca's and hopefully find one of these beauties for yourself. So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
This top is extremely retro so I toyed with the idea of wearing super flared leg jeans and wedges, but I decided to dress it up a bit while keeping my style casual so I wore my favorite pair of skinny jeans from Hollister and my awesome lace up pointed toe black flats that I got from Burke's Outlet instead. These skinny jeans are AMAZING!! They are high waisted and super stretchy so they are really comfortable. Not to mention they are distressed which is awesome! And let's talk about these shoes. I get so many compliments on these shoes everywhere I go and they are so perfect that I wear them with almost everything. I seriously need a pair of these cuties in every color. If you'd like to change it up a bit you could always wear the aforementioned flared leg jeans and wedges or you could even do a cute pair of booties. Don't forget your blue jean jacket or bomber jacket for when the temperature drops ;)

Shop This Look: Top *similar/ Jeans / flats *similar

Isn't this top super adorable? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Don't forget to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this top. I hope you enjoy this amazing hump day and happy shopping :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! It seems like forever since I've written a post when in reality it's only been a few days. LOL I guess that's what happens when you go from posting five times a week down to three. But, I did get a lot of stuff done for my eBay business and hopefully soon I'll be doing that full time and maybe on my way to opening an online boutique. Fingers crossed for me ladies :) I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was awesome! I got to go shopping with one of my best friends and I spent some much needed quality time with my sweetie. I'm really looking forward to this coming weekend though...not only do I have four days off but I'm going to the Renaissance festival and I couldn't be more excited!!! Ok enough about me and my plans because today is Monday and that means I have found some great must haves that I think you'll love. So, what did I find this week?...

Must Have Items
Who loves wearing super cute Halloween tees? They are literally everywhere right now and some of them have the cutest sayings on them so I decided that this week I would make a list of the five cutest Halloween tees that you simply must have. I searched my amazing Polyvore app again and found some great tees with some pretty funny sayings on them. I've linked all these tees HERE for you in case you would like to snag one for yourself ;)

1-"Nightmare Before Coffee" tee (Amazon,$19)
2-"Resting Witch Face" tee (Etsy,$25)
3-"Boo Y'all" tee (Amazon,$17)
4-"Pumpkin Spice And Everything Nice" tee (Amazon,$20)
5-"Don't Make Me Get My Flying Monkeys" tee (Zulily,$17)

All of these tees are definitely something I'd wear. I love the movie A Nightmare Before Christmas so the first tee would be perfect for me. And yes I am a nightmare before coffee. LOL The resting witch face tee would be the perfect match for the coffee mug I gave away on my recent giveaway. This tee describes me completely and now I have to have it. Boo Y'all is such a cute tee because it sounds like something we'd say down here in the south and it's just so darn cute. The pumpkin spice tee I threw in because it says the words pumpkin spice and who doesn't love those words right now?! The last one is a personal favorite of mine because The Wizard Of Oz is my favorite movie of all time and I love anything that's related to the movie! Plus this tee is super cute and fun. I've linked some more Halloween tees that aren't pictured HERE so you should certainly check those out. Who knows, you could find the perfect one for you ;)

Aren't these tees super cute? Which one is your favorite? Have you seen a Halloween tee lately with a funny saying on it? What was it? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who love Halloween. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

3 Ways To Wear Those New Fall Booties

Who's excited that fall is finally here? I know I sure am! I love everything about fall from the wonderful pumpkin spice drinks to the cooler light sweater weather. Unfortunately here in Texas it's still too hot to wear a sweater but I started wearing my new fall booties as soon as the temperatures dropped into the 80s. Yes you read that right...80s in October!! It's not all bad I guess. At least I won't be cold in my Halloween costume this year at the Renaissance festival. LOL. Seriously though, I am obsessed with my new booties and I'm wearing them with everything! Have you purchased your new pair of booties yet? What are you planning to wear them with? There are so many different ways to style a pair of booties but there's 3 in particular that I think are the cutest and best ways to show off your new fall footwear....

#1-Dress
I think booties look so pretty when paired with a dress especially a shirt dress like the one pictured. Booties can take something simple like a casual dress and make it a bit more dressy. You can wear booties with almost any style of dress except formal. I haven't attempted to wear my booties with any type of formal attire but I know it wouldn't look good so I'll stick with the casual and day dresses with these cuties. For my example I chose the perfect pair of cognac booties for fall and styled them with a belted plaid shirt dress and a cute tan purse. This is the perfect outfit for a lunch date with friends. I've linked all the items in the picture HERE.

#2-Skinny Jeans
I love the way booties look with skinny jeans! In fact, this is my favorite way to wear mine. It's the perfect casual look for fall when paired with a cute top or sweater. Just remember that if the jeans are too long to roll them up to right above the top of the booties. You don't want to show off too much skin but you don't want your jeans bunching up at the ankles either. I chose the same cute booties and paired them with some skinny jeans and a really pretty sweater. This is the perfect fall activity outfit. I would wear this to the pumpkin patch or a fall festival. I've linked all these items HERE for you.

#3-Romper
Wait what?! A romper in the fall? Well yes of course, especially if it's still 80 degrees where you live. HAHA I think a cute pair of booties makes any fall romper look a little more dressy. You can always throw on a pair of tights for when it gets a little chilly and the outfit still works. I love rompers but I have yet to buy one for fall...this needs to change asap. For my example I picked the same pair of booties and paired them with a beautiful floral long sleeve romper and a tan purse. This is a great outfit to wear out on a date with your sweetie. I've linked all these items HERE

Aren't these booties adorable? You could actually wear them for 3 different activities in one day if you change your outfit. How awesome is that?! Which of these styles could you see yourself wearing? I would wear all 3 myself! Is there a way that you'd style your fall booties differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to snag yourself a pair of booties if you don't already own some and spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends. I hope you have an amazing weekend and happy shopping :)

Black And Grey Striped Soft Sweater

How's everyone doing this awesome hump day?? I'm so happy this week is almost over. I get to spend some much needed time with one of my besties on Friday and I can't wait. I have been doing a lot of thinking here lately and I have decided to drop my posts from 5 days a week to 3. I haven't mentioned it yet, but I'm currently in the process of starting an online store and it has been taking up a whole lot of my time. Add my full time job on top of that and I hardly have any time to breathe. While a blog should be nurtured and treated like a job, it shouldn't be your whole life. So, I'm going to lessen my load to allow myself more time to work on my business and spend time with family. I'm cutting the Sunday outfit post and the Thursday Top 10 of the week post. I'll still have the Monday must have post, the Wednesday outfit post, and the Friday freebie post. This may not be a permanent thing, but I'm going to give it a try. As always if there's something you'd like me to write about or you have any suggestions you can shoot me an email or just follow one of my social media accounts linked below and shoot me a message on there. Now that I got all that out of the way, I have found the cutest sweater that I want to share with you that's perfect for fall and is super comfy and casual. So, where did I get this cutie and where can you get one for yourself?

The Sweater
I actually found this sweater while I was on vacation in August at the Lufkin, Texas mall that I went to with my parents. There was a store in this mall that I had never heard of before called Maurices and I knew as soon as I walked by this was going to be a great store for me. Their style is very feminine and I loved all the retro items they had for sale, but when I saw this super cute sweater and felt how soft it was I knew this was the top for me. I love stripes and black and grey are the perfect neutral colors for fall so I knew I could make this work with my wardrobe. At less than $30 it was an awesome deal! The only downside was I couldn't wear it when I bought it and I knew it would be close to two months before I could put it on. Finally we had some slight fall weather here in Texas so I didn't hesitate to throw this on and wear it out shopping with my mom last weekend. So how did I end up styling this cutie and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I wanted to stick with the casual theme but dress it up just a little so I paired it with my dark blue skinny jeans from Forever 21 that I've had for the longest time and my new black boots from Walmart that I purchased recently. I love getting jeans from Forever 21 because they are super affordable and they fit really well. These black boots have quickly become a favorite of mine and I wear them almost everywhere. They are very lightweight and really comfortable to wear even after a long day at the mall. LOL To change it up a bit you could wear a pair of black or grey Converse sneakers to create an even more casual look or you could dress it up a bit more and wear a pair of lace up flats. Either way, throw on a black bomber jacket for those cooler nights and you have the perfect fall outfit :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! The weekend is officially over and it's time to head back to work. I know you're probably a little bummed but don't worry because the next weekend will be here before you know it. To help with those pesky Monday blues that I know can get you down, I have found some really cool stuff that I think you'll love. Who's happy it's fall? Who loves pumpkin spice? If you said yes to either question then we can continue being friends ;) LOL and you will definitely love all the must have picks of the week because they all have something to do with pumpkin spice.

Must Haves
It's really easy choosing the must have list when I pick a theme so this week I chose pumpkin spice. I recently discovered that pumpkin spice is more than just a flavor, it's now a color too. With that in mind, I cruised through my Polyvore app this morning looking for the cutest pumpkin spice related items that would be great picks for this fall season. I found 5 things that I think everyone must have and I know you'll love them as much as I do. I've linked all these exact items HERE. The must have Monday picks are:

1-Striped purse (Tory Burch $1,095)
2-Pumpkin spice campfire mug (etsy $17)
3-Phone case (Claires $7.83)
4-Pumpkin spice lip balm (Target $5.79)
5-Pumpkin spice colored boots (Ariat Waverly $280)

The striped Tory Burch purse is so cute. I love the fall colors including the pumpkin spice color that's mixed in. This one is a bit pricey so I've linked a more affordable one from Amazon HERE for you. This will look great with all your fall outfits. The campfire mug is a wonderful thing to have for the fall season. With all the bonfires and hay rides going on this month this little mug will be your new best friend that will hold all your hot beverages on those cold nights ahead. This phone case is so adorable. I know I'm always including phone cases in the must haves of the week but why shouldn't I? You can never have too many phone cases especially if you want to change it up to match the seasons. I use lip balm every single day especially during the cooler months when my lips get chapped from the wind. Are you an avid lip balm user too? Why not trade your normal cherry lip balm for this awesome pumpkin spice flavor? It's very festive for the fall season and I'm sure it tastes wonderful. These riding boots are amazing!! There's just a hint of the pumpkin spice color but it's just enough to put these beauties on the list and make them a definite must have item for fall. These are a little expensive so I've linked a slightly less expensive pair HERE.

Aren't all these picks awesome? How much do you love pumpkin spice? Which one of these items is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your pumpkin spice loving friends. I hope you have an amazing Monday and happy shopping :)
