Wish Review-Blue Shift Dress

Happy Friday everyone!! I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. It was one tough week at work but I plan to enjoy the rest of tonight and all day tomorrow relaxing with my sweetie in front of the fireplace and watching some TV. So, who has plans for New Year's Eve? Anyone doing any online shopping this weekend? If you've been following this blog for a while then you know I'm OBSESSED with my wish app. I honestly feel it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Unfortunately not everything you get from there is top quality so I love buying stuff and sharing my opinion with you :) I get to feed my little shopping addiction while helping out my readers...talk about killing two birds with one stone LOL. I've actually been away from Wish for awhile (so I could pay down my credit card), but I'm back at it strong and luckily my first purchase was a huge WIN! So, what amazing deal did I find this time and how did I end up styling it?

Blue Shift Dress
As I was scrolling through my Wish app (like I do every single day), I came across this adorable long sleeve shift dress for only $7. I was a little skeptical at first seeing as the last dress I ordered from Wish was horrible, but I decided for that price I could at least give it a try. The hardest part was choosing which color I wanted. All of them are so pretty and I could easily style each and every one, but this bold blue color really caught my attention. This particular shade of blue is not only super pretty but it also looks really great with my skin tone. I was torn on what size to get because many of the reviews suggested that the dress was made too small, but I trusted my instinct and went with my normal size. Boy am I glad I did! The dress was a perfect fit and I love how it looks on me. So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I was wearing this beautiful dress on Christmas day to visit my boyfriend's family so I knew I wanted to dress it up a bit and make it really pretty. I had purchased this awesome colorful musical note scarf from Hot Topic on clearance a few months back and I knew it would look great so I decided to wear it with the dress. I was right! The colors blend very well together and I got sooooo many compliments on this scarf that I will keep it forever!! ;) For the shoes I wanted something a little bold but neutral in color so I went with the new boots my mom got me for Christmas from Burke's Outlet. I love these boots so much. They are such a great color to wear with any outfit and they are super dressy which was a huge plus! I think overall the outfit was a hit and I was very happy with how it turned out :) To change it up a bit you could always wear a different type of scarf and throw on some rocking high heels. If you can't wear heels then an adorable pair of flats will look just as good as will some sandals, when it gets warmer of course :)

Isn't this dress adorable? Do you like how I styled it? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who would love this dress and/or the wish app. I hope you have a safe and happy holiday and happy shopping :)

Blue Sporty Tunic Sweater

Happy hump day everyone! I can't believe that it's Wednesday already. This week has just flown by, but I'm glad because I'm one day closer to the weekend and the New Year :) Who has plans for this weekend already? I do!! This year instead of going to someone's house or to some big event, me and my sweetie are staying home and relaxing in front of the TV. Unfortunately I have to work New Year's Day so for New Year's Eve I just want to relax and enjoy time with my sweetie. If, like me, you also plan to spend the day relaxing then I have the perfect sweater for you. Not only is it super comfy but it's also really cute and will be perfect for lounging around the house or doing a little shopping. So, what is this sweater and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Sweater
I found this sweater while out black Friday shopping at JCPenney and I thought it was super cute and I knew I had the perfect boots to go with it. I LOVE wearing sweaters during the winter and I can get a little crazy buying them, but in my personal opinion you can never have too many sweaters...kinda like shoes ;) This particular sweater caught my attention because of the slight sporty look. I love the little stripes on the arms and the number on the chest give this sweater just enough of the sporty look to be cute, but not over the top (FYI I'm not a huge sports fan) The fact that this sweater is also a tunic is a huge plus because I'll also be able to wear this cutie with some adorable leggings in the future. I also love the slits on the sides. I'm a bit hippy so these slits help to keep the sweater from hugging my hips too tightly and of course give this sweater just one more notch on the cuteness factor :) Combine all this together with the fact I got this sweater on sale for less than $10 and it's a huge score for this fashionista!! This sweater is no longer available online so I linked a similar one below. I'm sure they may still have a few on the clearance rack of your local store ;) So, how did I end up styling this cutie and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I knew the moment I bought this sweater that I wanted the style to be comfy and casual. I've had an awesome pair of Union Jack Dr. Martens that I got from Journeys for a couple of years now that I hardly ever wear because I can never find anything to match them without wearing just a plain solid top. I was excited that this sweater went great with them so I decided to make this look sporty meets grunge :) Throw on a pair of skinny jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch and I had a super adorable and comfy outfit that I loved wearing. If Dr. Martens aren't your thing you can always wear a cute pair of Converse sneakers instead. In fact this sweater would go great with my white Converse and I may just wear them next time with those leggings I was talking about ;) You can also wear a cute pair of flats or even some fur boots like UGGs.

Are you a fan of Dr. Martens? If not, how would you style this sweater differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this sweater as much as I do. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday!! I hope you had an amazing Christmas. I know I sure did. 3 different houses in 2 days was fun yet hectic, but I did get to spend some time with family and friends and of course there was great food and gift giving ;) Now that Christmas is over it's time to get ready for New Year's!! Do you have New Year's Eve plans yet? My plan this year is to stay home in front of the fireplace in my pajamas and watch the celebrations on TV. No I'm not a boring person LOL...I have to work on New Year's Day so I don't want to be out all night and hung over in the morning. But, for my fashionistas who plan to hit up the club or an awesome party I have the perfect New Year's Eve essentials for you. For today's Must Have Monday post I decided to pick a few things that are must haves for every woman going out this coming Saturday night....not only do you want to ring in the New Year, but you want to look your best doing it ;)

Must Haves
1-Gold heels (Flannels, $185)
2-New Years headband and gold phone case (Etsy, $22) (Macy's, $29)
3-Star Bag (Harrods, $1,100)
4-Gold Dress (IndieXO, $88)
5-Red lipstick (Dior, $38)

Every fashionista needs a killer pair of heels for New Year's Eve! It doesn't matter what color scheme you decide to go with, but I chose these awesome gold ones because if I were going out I'd definitely want to stand out in the crowd :) No New Year's Eve party is complete without either a New Year's headband or those awesome New Year's glasses. I threw in an adorable gold phone case because no fashionista would be caught dead without her phone and you want to make sure you stay flashy...right ladies?? LOL :) No one wants to carry a huge purse around at the club, but us ladies need to have certain essentials on us at all times...just in case...so this adorable star shaped bag would be perfect for your New Year's Eve celebrations. It's small, adorable, and can be thrown over your shoulder for easy carry. There are many types of small bags you could carry so find one that's right for your outfit and you'll never be far away from your necessities :) What goes great with killer heels? A killer dress that's what! I chose this super hot gold dress to match the heels because it is exactly the kind of dress I'd wear out to the club. Remember ladies, New Year's Eve is the perfect time to wear that flashy dress and be proud of it :) To top of any awesome New Year's Eve outfit you need the perfect shade of lipstick! I chose this beautiful red color because it's really bold and I think it's perfect for any club or party you might attend this weekend. Of course you need to be sure to pick the right shade of red for your skin tone. I once bought a bright red color without trying it on and it looked horrible on me. Remember ladies you want to look amazing not weird :) No matter what color or style you decide to wear this New Year's Eve be sure to rock it girlfriend :) You can shop all these amazing items HERE!

What are your plans for New Year's Eve? Are you planning to hit up the club or maybe a friends party? What do you plan to wear for the big day? Which item above is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who are planning to go out for New Year's Eve this year. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

3 Ways To Style Those Christmas Leggings

Hey everyone and happy Friday :) I can't believe Christmas is only 2 days away! Who has plans to visit family this year? Who's staying home and relaxing? Whatever you end up doing this Christmas, be sure to look stylish while doing it ;) I have 3 different Christmas events to attend this weekend and I already have my outfits picked out and ready to go! How many of my fashionistas have been rocking those adorable Christmas leggings this year? Who would love to get a pair but have no idea how to wear them? For today's post I'm going to show you 3 different ways to rock an adorable pair of Christmas leggings so you can sport some to all your upcoming Christmas events this weekend and look amazing doing it :)

#1-Chunky sweater
The chunky sweater was made for leggings and this is how I wear mine most of the time. This type of sweater is perfect because it's long enough to provide coverage (remember ladies leggings aren't pants) and baggy enough to hide any unwanted bulging from the tightness of the leggings (think spandex). For my example I chose an adorable pair of Christmas print leggings and paired them with a black chunky sweater and the cutest fur boots EVER!! This is the perfect outfit for a relaxing Christmas at home opening presents with the family (for those of you who don't want Christmas pictures in your pajamas LOL). You can shop this look HERE

#2-Tunic Top
The tunic top is my second favorite way to wear a cute pair of leggings especially if it's not cold enough for a chunky sweater. Luckily there is such a thing as tunic sweaters so I decided to choose one of those for my example because it's Christmas and most likely cold where you live (unless you live in Houston because it's like 70 degrees here). The tunic provides the same coverage as the chunky sweater, but is a bit more dressy. For my example I chose a pair of white and green Christmas tree print leggings and paired them with a white tunic sweater top and an adorable pair of white booties. This is the perfect outfit for going to the in-laws house so you look super festive and still look amazing ;) You can shop this look HERE!

#3-Swing dress
You can wear leggings with any type of dress, but funky cute Christmas leggings look best when paired with a swing dress. One reason is because this style of dress isn't too dressy and also it doesn't hug your curves and therefore hides all the unwanted pudges. For my example I chose a beautiful pair of burgundy Christmas leggings and paired it with a burgundy swing dress and a gorgeous pair of burgundy heeled boots. This is the perfect outfit to wear to church or a family event on Christmas day. You will look very festive and beautiful. You can shop this look HERE

Aren't Christmas leggings amazing? How do you choose to style yours? Which one of my examples is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who love wearing Christmas leggings as much as I do. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and happy shopping :)

Red Fuzzy Holiday Sweater

Happy hump day everyone! I can't believe it's already Wednesday. Only two more nights of work for me then I'll be heading out to the mall on Friday for some last minute Christmas shopping. Who's ready for Christmas?? I know I sure am. I love the holiday season but it can be so exhausting and I still have yet another Christmas party to attend on Saturday. It's all good though because I have a 3 day weekend coming up and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it :) So, do you still have any parties or family gatherings to attend? Looking for a cute affordable holiday sweater that isn't an "ugly Christmas sweater"? If so then I have found the perfect sweater for you. Not only is it super cute but at less than $10 (it's on sale right now for only $8) it won't break the bank. So, what is this sweater and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Sweater
I found this sweater while browsing through the racks at Walmart on a recent shopping trip with my mom. I already had a cute pair of Christmas leggings in the buggy and I was searching for something to wear with them...then I found this beauty. It was solid red with no print or pattern so it was perfect for the leggings, or so I thought. I ended up not liking the way this sweater looked with the leggings but I loved the way the sweater fit so much that I decided to buy it anyway and wear it with something else. It's really stretchy so it fits comfortably and doesn't hug too tightly and there's silver metallic threading running all through it which makes it look very festive and kinda dressy. Oh and did I mention it's fuzzy ;) I knew I would have no problem finding something to wear with this adorable sweater and I didn't! So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
This is one of those sweaters that can go with several different styles so I decided to wear it casually instead of dressy like I had originally planned. I paired this cutie with a pair of skinny jeans from Forever 21 that I've had for a while and are finally at that super comfy phase...you know what I'm talking about ladies ;) For the shoes I was a bit torn between black, nude, or grey boots. All three would've went just fine and the black would be more festive (think Santa), but I ended up going with these grey plaid fur boots by Southpole that I bought several years back from Burke's Outlet because they are super adorable and I don't get to wear them very often. I wasn't sure if this style would match at first, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. I got to wear my new awesome fuzzy sweater and my fur boots that I love at the same time and look amazing!! Talk about killing two birds with one stone ;) LOL To change it up you could wear a black pair of heeled boots to make the outfit more dressy or you could wear a skirt and a pair of heels instead for a really hot holiday look. For my ladies that don't like wearing heels you can stick with flat boots like I did or you could opt for a cute pair of ballet flats. No matter what style you choose to go with just remember to rock it girlfriend :)

Isn't this sweater adorable? Did you like how I styled it? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was super fun. I had a blast with all my friends and family at the bonfire/Christmas party and I can't wait until the New Years party :) I was a little sad heading back to work last night, but knowing that Christmas is less than 1 week away is helping me get over those pesky Monday blues. For today's must have Monday post I decided to do something quirky and fun! Who loves wearing large goofy character house slippers?? I know I'm not the only one right?! One of the best things about Christmas morning is heading down the stairs in your pajamas and house slippers knowing there will be tons of awesome presents waiting underneath the tree!! This year why not get some big funky house slippers for the big day...and be sure to get plenty of pictures so you can admire them for years to come ;) LOL I have chosen 5 super adorable house slippers for you and hopefully you love them as much as I do.

Must Haves
1-Poop emoji slippers (Boohoo, $16)
2-Pink unicorn slippers (Boohoo, $14)
3-White yeti slippers (Gap, $24)
4-Blue whale slippers (New Look, $73)
5-Rudolph Christmas Slippers (Asos, $15.50)

I've been seeing these poop emoji slippers everywhere and I think they are hilarious!! I know my best friends kids love them and we all have heard the phrase "s**t happens" so grab a pair of these adorable slippers to make the whole family laugh on Christmas morning :) PINK UNICORN SLIPPERS!! Need I say more? These are the cutest slippers ever and I must have these in my life LOL ;) These white yeti slippers are definitely something I'd wear not just on Christmas but all winter long. They look so cozy and comfortable too so I'd love to have a pair of these cuties :) I picked these blue whale slippers because I think they are so adorable and because most people probably wouldn't think to get whale slippers this time of the year...I love being different :) These Rudolph Christmas slippers scream "I love Christmas" and are the perfect slippers to wear on Christmas morning especially if you have young kids at home. My mom actually has a pair of Santa slippers that are very similar and I think they are so adorable :) You can find all these great house slippers HERE.

Are you a fan of huge goofy house slippers? Will you be wearing a pair Christmas morning? Which of these 5 pairs is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who love big goofy house slippers as much as I do. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

Christmas Party Dress

Hey everyone and happy Friday!! I know it's kinda late but I was out shopping all morning since the stores are full of special deals right now and the shopaholic in me isn't able to pass up a good sale. LOL. And since it's Christmas time I can always gift any regretted purchases to someone on my list...or maybe someone who otherwise wouldn't get anything ;) So, are you excited that the weekend is finally here?? I know I sure am. I have so much to do before everyone comes over for my bonfire/Christmas party tomorrow night, but I wanted to share with you my dress from this years company holiday party as promised. So, what dress did I end up wearing and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Dress
I spotted this gorgeous dress completely by accident while shopping at Walmart with my mom a few weeks back. Yes you read that right...I said WALMART!! I couldn't believe such a beautiful dress was sold there so I immediately started thinking that there must be something wrong with it. I thought maybe it was cheaply made or not as pretty on as it was on the hanger but, I'm happy to say I was wrong on both assumptions. The material is thick like a sweater but silky and hugs in just the right places and I fell in love with the fold over collar and how pretty the gold glitter and zippers look against such a vibrant red color. This dress is so pretty on and is very comfortable. The only downside is you have to be careful which underwear you decide to wear. I originally put on some lacy ones and you could actually see the lace through the dress so I switched to no-show panties and they were perfect :) I can't really complain though since the dress was very reasonably priced and I got a lot of compliments the night of the party! This would make the perfect holiday party dress for any event you have coming up and at less than $10 (it's on sale right now for $7.50) it won't break the bank. So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
Since this dress is such a bright vibrant shade of red I knew I didn't want to wear black shoes with it (even though the model on the website is wearing black heels LOL) so I decided to stick with a neutral shade. I originally wanted to wear plain nude heels, but then I remembered I had these awesome leopard print cuties that I got from L'Patricia a few years back and I knew they were the ones to wear with this dress. I wasn't sure if the leopard print would look good with red at first, but when I tried them on I was very happy with the look and feel of the whole outfit. Add some adorable gold earrings and a gold purse from Burke's Outlet and voila...perfect Christmas party outfit :) If you aren't really feeling the leopard print then you can always opt for the plain nude heels or go with a gorgeous gold glitter pair. If heels aren't your thing you can wear some cute flats instead. I wouldn't wear red shoes with this dress unless you can find the exact shade of red. You don't want your reds clashing with each other ;) I think even a cute pair of boots or booties might look quite nice as well.

Shop This Look: Dress / Heels *similar

Isn't this dress gorgeous? Do you like the leopard print heels with them? How would you style this dress differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who would love this dress as much as I do. I hope you have an amazing weekend and happy shopping :)

Black Bell Sleeve Dress

Happy hump day everyone!! I'm so glad this week is halfway over and I'm extra excited because it's my last night of work for the week. I decided to use my last day off for the year tomorrow so I can go to the zoo and look at some beautiful Christmas lights. Yes, I said the zoo!! If you live in or around the Houston area they have an awesome lights display from 6-10pm every night so you should definitely check it out. Before I head off to work and get this night started I'd like to share with you a beautiful dress I found for less than $25. It's the perfect little black dress for any occasion and I know you'll love it as much as I do. So, what is this awesome dress and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Dress
About a month ago I was at the mall and on the hunt for an awesome Christmas party dress so I decided to stop at Forever 21 because they always have the cutest dresses. That's when I ran across this beauty and I knew I had to try it on. I love black dresses because they are so easy to style and look so classy and dressy. This one especially caught my attention because of the awesome bell sleeves, crochet bodice, and cute tassels. The fit was a little snug, but not enough for me to want to go up a size so I snagged this beauty thinking it was going to be this years Christmas party dress. I actually ended up finding a dress I liked better for the party and I'll be featuring that beauty on Friday's post. But, I never let a beautiful dress go to waste so I wore this one to church with my parents :) Unfortunately this dress is no longer available online so I linked a similar one below. The store may still have some though so be sure to check it out! So, how did I end up styling this dress and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
When it comes to black dresses the sky is the limit with styling them. I knew I wanted to keep the theme dressy and wear some cute heels, but I was undecided on which color. Then I woke up that Sunday morning and it was really cold outside. I knew I wanted to wear a pair of my cute tights that I purchased last year so I dug through my drawer and found this adorable black and white polka dot pair from JcPenney. So, the decision was quickly made to do a black and white color scheme and I had the perfect shoes in mind. I bought these shoes from Payless a while back and they have quickly become a favorite of mine. They are the most comfortable heels I've ever worn in my life and they are super adorable. I wasn't sure if the styles would match at first since the dress has a 70s retro vibe and the shoes are more of a throw back to the 40s, but I decided to give it a go and I'm very happy with the end result :) Sometimes mixing it up actually works and I love this outfit so much!! If you want you can wear all black and throw on some plain black heels or even a cute pair of black flats if you don't like wearing heels. If you're like me and you like adding pops of color then the sky is the limit with what colors to choose. Wear a vibrant red, green, purple, gold, silver, pink, etc. Just remember to match your accessories to whichever shoes you decide to wear to bring the whole outfit together.

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! I'm a little sad that the weekend is over, but I had such a great weekend that I'm not too upset it's Monday already. Thanks for all who sent good vibes my way...I won a prize this year at my company Christmas party, an Amazon echo dot :) It was my fifth Christmas party with this company and my first time winning anything so I'm really excited! Now, time to get through the next few days so I can enjoy my three day weekend! Thursday night I'm planning to go look at Christmas lights with my sweetie then Saturday is my first annual bonfire/Christmas party that I'm hosting for all my friends. I'm really looking forward to giving everyone their gifts and spending time with my friends and family :) Do you have any holiday parties coming up this weekend? I know of like four others off the top of my head so apparently this is the weekend for the parties!! LOL With that in mind I decided to feature a few super cute Christmas accessories that you could totally rock at the upcoming parties I know you're excited to attend ;) These Christmas accessories are not only very festive, but really adorable and I know you're going to love them as much as I do...

Must Haves
1-Christmas cat headband (dollskill, $8)
2-Christmas knit stocking hat (Claires, $19)
3-Christmas infinity scarf (Amazon, $9.99)
4-Christmas stockings (PinkQueen, $2.58)
5-Christmas purse (Belk, $20)

The Christmas cat headband is my favorite! You will look very festive and adorable wearing these cat ears with your outfit. It's like Halloween meets Christmas :) This knit hat is too adorable. I chose it because it looks like an elf hat and would be a great accessory to wear on a cold night or just to look super festive for your Christmas party :) Who doesn't love scarves?? This little Christmas scarf is the perfect accessory for any holiday outfit :) Those stockings are so cute! If you're wearing a dress for your Christmas party why not throw on a cute pair of stockings to go with it? They are super festive and oh so adorable. I'm pretty sure you can get these in green as well :) I have to have a purse no matter where I'm going so this little Christmas purse would be perfect to carry to a holiday party. It's super cute, festive, and an essential need for any woman :) You can find all these awesome Christmas accessories HERE.

Aren't these accessories super cute? Which one is your favorite? What festive accessory do you plan to wear to your Christmas party? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who would love these accessories as much as I do. The 5 Best Colors For A Holiday Party And How To Accessorize Them

Hey everyone and happy Friday! I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. I have a ton of shopping to get done today then tomorrow night is my company's annual holiday party. I know many companies have office parties and the attire may be somewhat casual, but at my holiday party everyone dresses like they're going to the prom...only a grown up prom with liquor (legally) LOL. One of the major topics of discussion the past few weeks between us ladies at work is what we are planning to wear to this semi formal event and especially what color. Many of the women I spoke with had no idea what they were going to wear and if they did have a dress picked out they had no idea how to style it. So, it gave me the idea for this post. If, like me, you have an upcoming holiday party that's a really dressy occasion and you are still undecided on what to wear, I got your back :) I picked out the 5 best colors that would be perfect for any semi formal holiday party and I'm giving you a few tips on how you can accessorize them.

#1-Black Dress
The number one color I see every year is black. Why is that?? Probably because black is so easy to accessorize and it's really slimming ;) I wore black my first, third, and fourth holiday parties with this company. Of course they were all slightly different and I paired each with colorful accessories, but this year I vowed to myself I wouldn't wear black. LOL. For this example I chose a gorgeous black sequin cocktail dress and paired it with all black accessories. I love this outfit!! This is the perfect example of a semi formal party outfit. If you're not into sequins then any black dress will do, but you'll need to have awesome accessories to keep it from looking boring since you opted out of sequins. You can try different colored shoes and accessories like red or white and you can even wear something with a bold animal print like a pair of leopard print shoes. To be honest the sky is the limit when it comes to black dresses so get creative :) You can shop this look HERE.

#2-Red Dress
Red is such a bold vibrant color and many people are afraid to wear it for fear of standing out too much. WHY??? Standing out and getting noticed are good things and you should always strive for this. One good thing about the color red is I've never seen anyone who doesn't look good in this color and it's extremely festive. This is why I chose to wear the color red to this years holiday party. Red can be a little tricky when choosing what to pair it with. Most people automatically choose black shoes which, depending on the shade of red, may not be the best choice. Dark red looks great with black, but a lighter red would look better with nude shoes and accessories. For this example I actually chose a really pretty red dress with silver sequins at the bodice. Since this dress already has a secondary color you will want to match it to your shoes and accessories so I chose a pair of silver heels, purse, earrings, and bracelet. Like with the black dress, you can choose a solid red dress but try to spice it up a bit with your choice of shoes at least...can we say red and white polka dot heels? ;) You can shop this look HERE.

#3-Green Dress
I love the color green and it was actually my original color of choice for this year's holiday party. Like red, it too gets overlooked a lot because it doesn't look good on everyone. I know most women with pale skin or red hair look great in green, but some others may not. If you're one of the lucky women who can pull off this shade then you should definitely go for it! One downside to green is it can be hard to accessorize, but if you stick with neutral colors like black or nude then you can't go wrong. For this example I chose a gorgeous green semi formal dress and paired it with all black accessories. I chose black because this shade of green is on the darker side. If you choose a shade that is lighter then nude accessories would be the way to go. For the love of God don't wear red unless of course you want to look like a Christmas elf. LOL. #4-Blue Dress
This vibrant cobalt blue is one of my favorite colors to wear. I actually just ordered a dress in this color and I can't wait to get it. Any shade of blue will be fine for a holiday party, but this particular shade is perfect for the fall and winter seasons. With this color you will also want to stick with neutral shades of accessories. I'll probably wear a pair of nude boots with my blue dress, but black and silver are also great colors as well. For this example I chose a pretty little cobalt blue dress and paired it with all silver accessories. Silver is a great festive color for the holidays so this outfit would be perfect for anyone's holiday party. You can change it up by wearing black or white instead and even nude heels would look great. Just remember to keep the shoes and accessories neutral ;) You can shop this look HERE.

#5-Purple Dress
OMG I love the color purple. Once upon a time purple was reserved for royalty and I can totally see why. Purple is one of those colors that looks great on just about everyone so why not wear it to a wonderful dressy event like a holiday party? Purple looks great with black, white, silver, and nude so choose one of these colors and accessorize away. If you want to be really bold you could wear yellow with purple, but I personally wouldn't do so at a dressy event. For this example I chose a beautiful purple bodycon dress and paired it with black and silver accessories. This is my favorite outfit of this post and I think the fur heels have a lot to do with that ( I'm only slightly obsessed with cute heels I promise) LOL Like I said you could change it up and wear all silver, white, or nude accessories. Finding a pair of shoes in the exact shade of purple would be fine too especially if they had an awesome bold design on them :) You can shop this look HERE
