Owl Fleece Lined Leggings

Hey everyone and happy hump day!! I'm so glad this week is halfway over. I have so much to do this weekend and I'm ready to get to it. Friday I have the last little bit of Christmas shopping to get done then Saturday is my company Christmas party. I'm so ready for all the fun ahead :) For now, I'd like to share with you the cutest pair of fleece lined leggings ever!! Well, if you love owls like I do then you'll think so, but even if you're not an owl lover I'm sure you will still think they are adorable. I love wearing fleece lined leggings during the fall and winter seasons because they not only keep you super warm but they are also really comfy and soft against your legs which is amazing!! So, what are these super cute leggings and where can you snag a pair for yourself?

The Leggings

I found these adorable leggings at Walmart for less than $10 and I knew immediately I had to have them. I am a huge owl fanatic! In fact I collect owls and have them all over my house so when I saw a pair of leggings with owls on them I was sold. I love the vibrant blue color of the owls and how the dark grey background really makes them stand out. In certain lighting the leggings actually look brown but either way the owls pop. I will say they do run a little small so be sure to go up a size when purchasing a pair. Mine were a little snug in the hips and tummy but I made them work because I HATE returning things. LOL Unfortunately these cuties are not available online right now because they are so awesome they sold out, but you might still find a pair at the store because I still saw a pair at my local Walmart just this past weekend :) So, how did I style these cuties and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style

I wanted to look super casual and comfortable so I decided to pair these leggings with my adorable ivory fur booties that I got from Sears a couple of years back and my new ivory lace trimmed long sleeve blouse from Kohl's that I purchased recently. I love these booties! Not only are they really comfy but they are super warm as well. I don't get to wear these cuties too often though because every time I decide I'm going to match them to an outfit it decides to rain and I really don't want to get them dirty. Lucky for me it was cloudy and clear when I wore them this time :) This blouse is so beautiful. I actually bought it to go with a scarf I found a month ago but then I realized just how well it goes with these leggings so I decided to wear it with them. And besides, I don't want to wear a scarf and cover up the gorgeous lace detail in the back! I got this beautiful blouse on sale for less than $15 so the whole outfit was less than $25 (since I already had the booties). To change it up you could wear a cute pair of knee high boots and a sweater. I think the ivory goes really well, but you could also try to match the blue of the owls and wear a shirt and shoes in that color instead. You can make it more dressy by wearing a similar top with some heeled boots. I think that would actually look really good!

Must Have Monday

Happy Monday everyone!! Although I'm not too thrilled that it's Monday, I am looking forward to my company Christmas party this weekend. I'm ready for good food, time with friends, and all the wonderful door prizes that are always given away ;) Keep your fingers crossed that I actually win something this year. LOL So, how was your weekend? Mine was pretty productive and I got to spend some time with both my parents doing a fundraiser then of course some Christmas shopping. I officially have everyone on my list checked off!! Do you have anyone left on your list to buy for this year?? If so, why not get them a cute pair of pajamas?! I LOVE pajamas and I request them and fuzzy socks from just about everyone every single year including this one. Hopefully I get some cute ones like the ones I chose for today's must have Monday post!

I love Victoria's Secret!! They have the cutest and most comfortable pajamas ever! Yes, they are a bit pricey but trust me they are so worth it. I love the colors in this particular set and I really want these for Christmas now :) I love this graphic pajama t-shirt and matching bottoms. Like the title says these are the perfect pajamas for a slumber party. Super cute :) These Kate Spade pajamas are everything! I love any and everything Kate Spade right now and I seriously need these pajamas in my life...any takers?? LOL ;) I love fleece pajamas and in fact I just bought a similar pair to these in black and red from Walmart. Fleece is the perfect material for a cold winters day because it will keep you extra toasty as you lounge in front of the fire :) Thermal pajamas are amazing! I just bought a super cute pair in vibrant blue from Walgreens and I love them so much. The color and print of this particular pair make it perfect for the holiday season and of course super adorable :) You can shop all these awesome pajama sets HERE.

CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY

Hey everyone and happy Friday! I know it's really late and that I usually write my posts early in the morning but, I was out all day Christmas shopping and I decided since my blog will be one year old on Sunday to do a giveaway :) I love this time of the year!! I love all the pretty lights, the decorations, the presents, and especially the time spent with family I don't always get to see. It's also the time of year I started my blog. I can't believe it's been a year already! I've had so much fun writing each and every post and I really appreciate all the views and the feedback I've gotten throughout the past year. Betsey Johnson is one of my favorite designers and I think this purse totally represents her eccentric style :)

I love wearing hats and scarves during the fall and winter seasons and when I saw this beautiful bright pink combo I knew I had to include it in this giveaway. Who doesn't love wearing a cozy pair of fuzzy socks during the winter season? I literally live in these when it's cold and my feet always stay warm. I picked this particular pair because they are pink (my favorite color) and they have cute snowflakes on them. These will keep your feet super warm on all the cold nights we have ahead :)

I had to include this umbrella in this giveaway for three reasons. First the leopard print is really cute. Second the winter season can be a little wet with all the sleet and snow. Third it's Betsey Johnson and she's the best!! LOL. This beautiful and stylish umbrella will keep you dry and looking good all year long :)

#5-Frosted cranberry soap

You may be asking why a bar of soap. Well just wait until you smell it!! I actually bought myself a bar of this as well and it smells sooooo good. I haven't used it yet so I can't vouch for how it will make your skin feel, but it will sure make you smell pretty :)

#6-Relaxing cat eye mask

I grabbed this cutie up the second I saw it. There was only one left and I really wanted it for this giveaway. I love cats and this pink eye mask is too adorable for words. Also, it smells like lavender which is a really relaxing scent and will help you wind down after a long day at work or just to relieve stress from the holiday season :)

#7-"Hello gorgeous" makeup bag

I thought this little makeup bag was the cutest thing ever so I snatched it up before someone else could. I love the little smiley face on the front and also the adorable black fuzz ball attached to it. This will be perfect to carry some eyeliner, lipstick, and other small cosmetic items so you can freshen up your look and still look super cute doing it :)

#8-TY Christmas reindeer

OMG how cute is this little stuffed reindeer?? I wanted to include a small plush toy in this giveaway and I knew I found the perfect item when I saw this little guy. He's got beautiful green eyes and red and green hooves which is perfect for the Christmas season. He'll be the perfect little decoration for your shelf or maybe you have a little one who'd love to have it :)

Paisley Print Dress

Happy hump day!! Who else is super excited that the week is halfway over already? I know I sure am. Tonight is my last night of work for the week then I'm taking my last personal day of the year tomorrow so I can help my dad's church with a fundraiser. I like to do at least one of these during the holiday season because it always makes me feel good to give something back :) Before I head off to work I'd like to share with you a new dress that I found. I love this dress so much and I'm sure you will as well. If anything it will be a great gift idea for someone on your Christmas list!! So, what is this dress and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Dress

I found this beautiful paisley print dress while shopping at Target about a month or so ago and I knew immediately I had to have it. It's not everyday that I find a long dress that hits just above the ankle which is perfect for my height. I know on taller women it will probably be just past the knee but I love this length on me :) It wasn't only the length that caught my attention but also the beautiful paisley print that covers the whole entire dress. To me it makes the dress look super retro which I love. Also, this dress is very slinky and stretchy so it hugs my body perfectly without being too tight! The lace up neckline is the final feature that makes this dress a must have for any fashion lover. Oh and did I mention that it's less than $30?! What a steal!!! So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style

I wanted to look super dressy when wearing this dress but also keep with the retro theme just a bit so I decided to pair this dress with my awesome black chunky heels that I got on sale from Shoe Dazzle this past summer. I LOVE these heels so much and they have become my absolute favorite pair of black heels that I own. I love how shiny they are and the little buckles on the side are super cute. The heel itself is slightly chunky in that it isn't a narrow heel but a flat wider one that makes walking much easier. I felt really bold and confident wearing this outfit and I'm sure you will as well. To change it up a bit you could always wear a cute pair of lace up flats instead or even some adorable wedges. I'm not sure if boots or booties would work as I didn't try any on with the dress but you could always give it a try and see how it looks. For colder days throw on a cute black dressy jacket and you're good to go :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing weekend. Mine was not only fun but super productive. I wasn't ready to head back to work last night, but I gotta keep making that steady paycheck until my business kicks off ;) So, who's ready for Christmas??? Normally I already have my tree up by now but I've been so busy. Hopefully I can get it put up Friday or Saturday. But, I do have almost all the presents on my list bought. I just have to go back for a few more things. I love Christmas!! I love the lights, the music, the fun, the family time, the shopping, and of course THE UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS!!! Are you obsessed with ugly Christmas sweaters as much as I am? I don't think they're ugly at all actually, but super cute. For today's post I decided to share with you some of the one's I currently have my eye on and I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do :)

The black Dear Santa sweater perfectly describes me and I'm sure most everyone else as well. It's just a funny little saying that pretty much lets everyone know you tried to be good but it didn't really work out so well. LOL ;) The green ornament sweater is super cute! I love how it makes you look like a Christmas tree. The company that sells this sweater is from Europe but I tried to do the money conversion to dollars the best I could. It should be pretty accurate. I just wonder if they ship here HMMMM. This white Santa's coming sweater is too adorable. It reminds me of the movie Elf which I just watched this weekend to get into the spirit of Christmas :) This red reindeer sweater is the cutest thing ever!! I love sweaters like this. This sweater is also from the European company but I've seen similar ones in our American stores. I may have to go out and purchase one for sure :) This grey sweater quotes one of the most iconic Christmas movies of all time...Home Alone! I never go a year without watching the first two of these movies and it would be nice to have this sweater to wear to show my love of this holiday classic :) You can shop all these beautiful "Ugly" Christmas sweaters HERE!
