Pink And Green Plaid Shirt

Happy Sunday everyone! Are you enjoying your weekend so far? I've had an amazing weekend with my sweetie but now it's time for me to head back to work so I can once again start the countdown to the next weekend 😎 Did you get a chance to check out my picks of the week post from Thursday? If not you should certainly do that so you can see the amazing deals I found for you. If you have already read it then you should recognize the shirt I'm wearing. So where did I get it and how much can you get it for?

I saw this shirt as I was browsing through the racks at Burlington last weekend and I immediately loved the colors in the shirt. I don't own many plaid button up shirts so I figured I'd give this one a try and see how it fit me. The material is really soft and comfortable and it doesn't fit too tight across the chest which was a major win for me. In the past I've steered clear of many button up shirts because of the dreaded chest gap 😮 I love the casual look of this shirt and I knew almost instantly how I was going to wear it. To keep in theme with the casual look I paired the shirt with a pair of distressed skinny jeans I purchased from Ross also last weekend and my amazing converse sneakers I found at Academy a few years back. The jeans are really stylish and comfortable because they have the wonderful stretch of spandex which makes for a better fit overall. It's nice to have skinny jeans that retain their shape and not be too overly snug. I am obsessed with converse sneakers and plan to own a pair in every color eventually. These are the ultimate casual shoes for everyday comfort wear but are super stylish which is always a big plus. This is the perfect outfit for a day of shopping, running errands, or a game night with friends such as bowling or miniature golf. To make this shirt more dressy you can always wear a cute pair of ballet flats or boots with it instead of sneakers. To recreate this look:

Shirt: Burlington @ less than $15
Jeans: Ross: @ less than $20
Sneakers: Converse (Academy) @ $30

Isn't this the cutest plaid button up shirt you've ever seen?! Do you like how I wore it? How would you wear it differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram @ fashionable tigress to get updates on all my blog posts and to see pics and other cool stuff that doesn't make it onto the blog. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for my must have shoes of the week post. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and be safe.

Goodbye for now...Fashionable Tigress ❤

    1. You could pull it off. You would need one with spandex in it and maybe darker colors 😉

  2. Oh, the dreaded chest gap! I also tend to stay away from button-ups for that reason. I don't have any plaid right now, but it sure looks cute.

    1. Thank you 😊 and yes nothing is worse than the chest gap but this one is a little bigger in the chest area so I have plenty of room.
