Plaid Scarf

Happy hump day everyone!! I can't believe this week is already halfway over. Not that I'm complaining. I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend for my new business venture then I have a nice couples dinner planned for Saturday with my sweetie and another awesome couple. How's your week going so far?? Are you already having cooler weather where you live? Here in Texas it's still in the lower 80s, but we did have a slight cool front come through about a week ago and I was able to wear my awesome new plaid scarf that I've been dying to wear!! I'm so excited to be sharing this beauty with you today. Not only is it super soft and cozy, but it's also less than $10. So where can you snag one for yourself?

The Scarf
I found this awesome plaid scarf while shopping at Walmart with my best friends' daughter a few weeks back and I immediately knew I had to have it. I had been searching everywhere for a plaid scarf (even though it was still in the 90s at the time) only to find that all the ones I wanted were over $30. Thankfully I came across this beauty by accident. There were actually a whole bunch of these in different colors and it was really hard to choose the one I liked the best, but it came down to this one and a pretty green plaid one. This was of course the winner. LOL I may go back for the green one later though because I really think I can make an awesome outfit out of it. So how did I style this adorable scarf and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I wanted the scarf to stand out so I chose a neutral grey tunic tee that I got from Kohls. There's some grey in the scarf so I knew this shirt would be a perfect fit so I actually bought it with this scarf in mind. Also, there's many other ways I can style this cute tee so it was a good buy :) These Abercrombie and Fitch skinny jeans are so comfortable and went really well with this outfit. I thought about wearing darker jeans at first but changed it to these lighter ones at the last minute. To complete the outfit I threw on my cute black booties that I got from Walmart that are so comfortable and the perfect style for the fall season. To change it up you could wear a pretty black or grey dress and maybe even one in red or blue as well. This would also look cute with a black top, black jeans, and black boots. Wearing all of one solid color would really make the scarf stand out for sure. I've linked these items below for you so be sure to snag one of these amazing scarves before they are all gone.

I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who would love a plaid scarf for fall. I hope you have an amazing hump day and happy shopping :)
