Blue Embroidered Peasant Top

Happy hump day!! I'm so happy this week is halfway over already. I have so much to do this weekend and I'm ready to get to it. Hopefully I find some time to relax when I'm done but we shall see. Have you made plans for the weekend yet? I have business shopping on Friday then Saturday my friend is getting married so I'll be attending her wedding...busy busy. LOL This past weekend I actually had some down time so my sweetie and I decided to go to dinner with another lovely couple. It was such a great time and I got to wear my awesome new peasant top that I've been dying to wear since the moment I bought it. Today I've decided to share this top with you and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. So what is this top and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Top
I found this beauty while shopping at Francesca's a couple of weeks back and I knew I had to have it. I was so thrilled when I tried it on and the fit was perfect. It's one of those little things that always brings a smile to my face. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about ladies ;) I love the dark blue color and how it contrasts so well with the white embroidery that covers the sleeves. This top is extremely comfortable and super retro. At less than $40 I knew it was going home with me! So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I was originally going to go full retro with this outfit and wear some really cute white wedges that I love, but they are sandal wedges and it's fall so I decided to take a different approach. I remembered I had these adorable white heeled booties from Shoe Dazzle in my closet so I went with them instead creating a unique look that I really don't have a name for...casual dress maybe? To finish off this look I threw on a pair of medium blue skinny jeans from Hollister that are so stretchy and comfy. I felt really pretty in this outfit and it was the perfect thing to wear for my double date :) To change it up a bit you could wear wedges instead of heels or even a comfy pair of flats would look really cute. A nice pair of flare leg jeans would go great with this top as well.Throw on a pretty scarf and maybe a jacket for an instant fall night outfit.

Isn't this top adorable? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this top. I hope you enjoy the rest of your hump day and happy shopping :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was insanely busy. I honestly didn't think I was ever going to get any sleep but I got so much done and I'm really happy with that. I know I've mentioned that I'm starting a business but I haven't said what I'm doing exactly. I've started doing sales on eBay and I'm about to branch over into Amazon as well and eventually my own online clothing and accessories store. It's a lot of hard work, but my end goal is to be my own boss and not have to go to a regular 9-5 everyday. Exciting huh?! If you'd like to check out my resale items on eBay you can look up seller Tigress15. I add more stuff every couple of days...that's why I'm always super busy. LOL Now back to the awesome items I have found for today's Must Have Monday post :) I have put together 5 items that are perfect for this fall season and I know you will love just as much as I do. So, what are they and where can you get them??

Must Have Items
1-Kate Spade cat watch (Shop bop, $195)
2-Leopard print scarf (Charlotte Russe, $15)
3-Animal hat with pom pom ears (Hollister, $12)
4-Fall leaves phone case (Casetify, $40)
5-Saint Lauren heart purse (Far fetch, $1750)

I'm totally obsessing over this gorgeous Kate Spade watch!! I actually found this before I saw it on Polyvore at Macys and I've already added it to my Christmas wish list. Hopefully I find it under the tree ;) I love scarves and leopard print anything so this adorable scarf would be the perfect accessory for me. I actually just purchased a LBD for my company Christmas party and I was wondering what to wear with it. I have the cutest leopard print heels so this would work out great. Now I have to go snag one before they are all gone :) I have been seeing these little hats with the two pom pom ears everywhere!! I want one really bad now and I may put this on my Christmas list as well. Most of the ones I've seen don't have the cute face on it though and that's why I chose this one. How cute is it?! I don't want to wait another month to see if Santa brings it though so maybe I'll go to Hollister and get one for myself ;) I really need a new phone case!! I usually change my case to match the season or whatever holiday is coming up, but I've been putting most of my play money into the business so I'm still carrying around my summer phone case. BLAH!! Maybe I'll sneak off and order this cutie :) OMG this purse is the cutest thing I've ever seen! I love anything with hearts on it, but the fact that someone made the whole purse a heart makes me smile. It kind of looks like something you'd get for Valentine's day only it would be filled with chocolates. LOL I'd definitely wear this beauty everywhere. The price is a little steep for me...my business isn't making that much bank yet...but I'm sure I can find a similar one on Amazon that looks just as great :) You can shop all these wonderful accessories HERE.

Aren't these items super adorable? Which one is your favorite? What fall item are you totally obsessing over right now? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who would love any of these items. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

3 Ways To Wear Your New Blanket Scarf

Hey everyone and happy Friday! I'm so happy the weekend is finally here. I have so much to get done today so I'm a little frantic and running on zero sleep right now, but it's something that is simply unavoidable. Hopefully I'll have everything done early so I can come home and crash. LOL Do you have exciting plans for the weekend? Whatever you're planning on doing I hope you have a blast and of course you gotta look good doing it. Speaking of looking good...who's obsessed with blanket scarves this season? I know it's not just me!! Do you have a certain way you wear them? Looking for new ideas?? I've seen so many different styles and outfit ideas with ladies wearing these beautiful scarves, but I wanted to share with you my favorite 3 and hopefully it will give you some ideas that maybe you hadn't already thought of.

#1-Wearing all black
This is definitely one of my favorite ways to wear a blanket scarf because it's a great way to make the scarf the statement piece. When you wear all black or any neutral color for that matter you can go as crazy as you want with both the color and pattern of your scarf. You can either wear a super cute LBD and black heels or something similar to the outfit in the picture. For this example I chose a bold red plaid blanket scarf and paired it with black leggings, a black tunic top, black fur boots, and a cute black cat purse. I would wear this outfit literally everywhere because it would be super comfy and so adorable for the fall season. You can shop all the items in this picture HERE.

#2-Sticking with soft neutral colors
I love wearing ivory and brown during the fall and winter months because I can pair those colors with basically anything. The single best item I have purchased so far for the fall season this year is my tan booties that I have been wearing EVERYWHERE! There really is no secret trick to this style. You simply choose a blanket scarf in soft neutral colors and match everything else to those colors or as close as you can get. This can be in the form of a dress or something more casual like the outfit in this picture. For this example I chose a beautiful blanket scarf with ivory and tan colors and paired it with some skinny jeans, an ivory sweater, tan boots, and a tan purse. This is the perfect casual outfit for all your favorite fall activities. You can shop this look HERE.

#3-Contrasting colors
I normally don't like mixing two bold colors together in one outfit because I think it can be a bit much, but when you have a scarf that blends these two colors together already then it's ok to choose one of those colors to wear to compliment the scarf. There is a slight trick to this and that's to keep the shoes and accessories neutral. I see this done a lot with jeans and a bold colored top, but for my example I chose something a little more dressy. For this outfit I chose a blue and red blanket scarf and paired it with a bold red dress, tan boots, and a tan purse. I usually only wear red and blue together for patriotic holidays, but this scarf is so pretty that I would definitely rock this look. Another great look I've seen is a bold yellow dress with a purple and yellow scarf, but I forget where I saw it. Pinterest maybe... This outfit would be perfect for date night with your sweetie. You can find all these items HERE.

Aren't these outfits adorable? Which one is your favorite? What style are you looking forward to trying with your new blanket scarf? Is there a style I didn't mention that is your go-to scarf style? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who love blanket scarves. I hope you have an amazing weekend and happy shopping :)

Plaid Scarf

Happy hump day everyone!! I can't believe this week is already halfway over. Not that I'm complaining. I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend for my new business venture then I have a nice couples dinner planned for Saturday with my sweetie and another awesome couple. How's your week going so far?? Are you already having cooler weather where you live? Here in Texas it's still in the lower 80s, but we did have a slight cool front come through about a week ago and I was able to wear my awesome new plaid scarf that I've been dying to wear!! I'm so excited to be sharing this beauty with you today. Not only is it super soft and cozy, but it's also less than $10. So where can you snag one for yourself?

The Scarf
I found this awesome plaid scarf while shopping at Walmart with my best friends' daughter a few weeks back and I immediately knew I had to have it. I had been searching everywhere for a plaid scarf (even though it was still in the 90s at the time) only to find that all the ones I wanted were over $30. Thankfully I came across this beauty by accident. There were actually a whole bunch of these in different colors and it was really hard to choose the one I liked the best, but it came down to this one and a pretty green plaid one. This was of course the winner. LOL I may go back for the green one later though because I really think I can make an awesome outfit out of it. So how did I style this adorable scarf and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I wanted the scarf to stand out so I chose a neutral grey tunic tee that I got from Kohls. There's some grey in the scarf so I knew this shirt would be a perfect fit so I actually bought it with this scarf in mind. Also, there's many other ways I can style this cute tee so it was a good buy :) These Abercrombie and Fitch skinny jeans are so comfortable and went really well with this outfit. I thought about wearing darker jeans at first but changed it to these lighter ones at the last minute. To complete the outfit I threw on my cute black booties that I got from Walmart that are so comfortable and the perfect style for the fall season. To change it up you could wear a pretty black or grey dress and maybe even one in red or blue as well. This would also look cute with a black top, black jeans, and black boots. Wearing all of one solid color would really make the scarf stand out for sure. I've linked these items below for you so be sure to snag one of these amazing scarves before they are all gone.

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and Happy Halloween!! Who's dressing up tonight and taking the kids trick or treating? Maybe you plan to stay home and hand out candy? If I wasn't working tonight I'd be heading to a haunted house. I LOVE going to haunted houses but sadly I was unable to go this year :( It's ok though because I got to do a few other things that were just as fun. I really do hate the fact Halloween is on a Monday this year since I have to work, but it will be fun to see who shows up to work tonight in costume. LOL For today's must have Monday post I decided to choose some last minute Halloween items that you need before heading out tonight. These are super cute and I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do. So, what are they and where can you get them??

Must Haves
1-Blood splatter nails (Etsy, $11)
2-Cell hone case (Asos, $8.50)
3-Coffee mug (Amazon, $22)
4-Skull Earrings (Amazon, $21)
5-Leggings (Zazzle, $63)

Everyone needs awesome nails for Halloween. Don't forget to get your mani before tonight or you can grab a set of fake nails and do your own mani. These fake nails are perfect if you have a scary costume or if you just want to gross people out. There are thousands of different Halloween manis to choose from so you can always opt for something cute as well. I love changing up my cell phone case from season to season or in this case by holiday. I think this particular case is too funny and I'd love to have it. I'm sure you can find many different types of festive cell phone cases at a store near you. This coffee mug is everything! I think I'm going to start collecting cute mugs with funny sayings like this one because it's always entertaining for your guests when they ask for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate ;) Your Halloween outfit isn't complete without a pair of skull earrings. These are too cute but are unfortunately sold out. I did see a similar pair of these at my local Walmart so you could try there. Halloween leggings are so cute!! I have no idea why I don't own a pair. I'll have to buy some on sale after Halloween and wear them next year. This particular pair are too adorable. I love stripes and the orange and black just screams Halloween. These are definitely a must!! You can shop all of these items HERE.

Aren't these items awesome? Which one is your favorite? What's your last minute must have item that you'll be rushing to the store for later this afternoon?? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to share this post with all your friends who love Halloween. I hope you have an amazing night! Happy shopping and Happy Halloween :)
