Colorful Striped Sweater

Happy hump day everyone!! Ok, so normally I'm wondering how the week flew by right about now but today is a totally different story. It feels like this week is just dragging on...can't it be the weekend again already?! It's all good though because I only have two more nights of work then I'll be off for two days and I already have plans (like usual) LOL Friday I'm actually going to get to see my best friend for longer than a few minutes as we are getting our nails done together then grabbing some lunch. I can't wait!! What are your plans for the weekend? Anyone doing any shopping? If so be sure to hit up those winter clearance sales because all the new spring inventory is hitting the shelves right now and it's super exciting. I'm really looking forward to sharing all the latest new styles with you :) For today's outfit of the week post I'm sticking with winter fashion since many of my friends up north are still experiencing super cold weather so if you're still wanting to rock your winter fashion trends then I have the perfect sweater for you. Not only is it super adorable but it's really comfy and cozy as well. So, what is this sweater and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Sweater
I found this sweater a couple of months back on the clearance rack at Palais Royal. I don't do a lot of shopping there normally but my mom loves it so I thought I'd hop over to the juniors section and see what they had to offer. This sweater caught my eye immediately. I love how vibrant the colors are and the texture is really flattering as well. Another great thing about this sweater is how stretchy it is. It has just enough stretch to fit perfectly but it's not so tight that I can't breathe. At less than $15 on sale it was a steal and I'm so glad they still had one in my size. I don't usually feature too many items I got off the clearance rack because they don't always have any left when I get ready to put a link up for you, but they actually still have it online and it's less than $7!!! How awesome is that?! So, how did I end up styling this sweater and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I had originally thought about wearing this sweater with a pair of red fur casual boots like maybe some UGGs or Bearpaws but after much consideration (and the fact I saw these awesome boots on Wish) I decided to dress up the sweater just a bit and wore these awesome new grey heeled knee high boots that I got for less than $15! All that my outfit needed was a pair of jeans so I chose these cute denim skinny jeans by Lauren Conrad that I got from Kohl's. I felt super pretty and stylish in this outfit which was perfect since I was taking my mom out for her birthday the day I wore this. If you'd like to change it up you could always go for the casual option I mentioned above or just wear a cute pair of riding boots if you want to keep the dressy look but don't like wearing heels. I think a cute pair of black or grey pointed toe flats would look cute as well.

Isn't this sweater adorable? Do you like how I styled it? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this sweater as much as I do. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week and happy shopping :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! I never say this but I'm actually glad it's the beginning of a new week. I was so busy this weekend and even though I'm back at work I still feel like I can relax just a little. This coming weekend isn't as busy and I'm even planning to set aside some time to get my toenails done :) So, who's been seeing all the cute new phone cases that are coming out? I haven't really paid attention until recently and now I want like ten of them. LOL For today's must have Monday post I have chosen 5 of the cutest phone cases I could find and am sharing them with you....

Must Haves
1-Juice box phone case (Valfre, $38)
2-Chill pill phone case (Nylon, $38)
3-Panda bear phone case (Claires, $14)
4-Poison bottle phone case (Valfre, $38)
5-Blue furry phone case (Browns Fashion, SOLD OUT)

This adorable juice box phone case is just what I need! Do you see what it says? "Bitchin' and sippin'" How cute is that?? I could totally see myself carrying this cutie everywhere...ok well maybe not to church LOL ;) Who remembers the saying "take a chill pill"? If you're a child of the 80s then you most certainly do! This phone case is awesome because it reminds me of simpler times and because it's just too stinking cute :) Panda stuff is super popular right now!! I actually just sold a Betsey Johnson panda backpack on eBay and I have another one if anyone is interested. (You can find it HERE) This little phone case is so adorable that I might just become obsessed with pandas myself :) This poison bottle phone case is too adorable for words!! Be sure to read the ingredients under the skull and cross bones symbol ;) Last but not least is this adorable blue fuzzy phone case. This one is not new but I had to include it because it's simply too adorable not to. This particular one is sold out but I have personally seen some on Wish that are just as cute so be sure to check out their website if you want one :) You can shop all these awesome phone cases HERE.

Aren't these phone cases adorable? Which one is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Fashion Inspiration:The 20th Century

Many of the world's greatest inventions occurred during the 20th century. We were introduced to airplanes, television, antibiotics, computers, and cell phones to name a few, but the 1900s also gave us some amazing breakthroughs in the fashion industry. Style during this time went from long dresses to mini skirts and long hair rolled into a bun to the awesome pixie cut of the 1960s. Women's roles in society were rapidly changing and with that came the ability to break out of the rigid confines of old world fashion and try new and daring styles. No matter what your personal style is today, it can most certainly be traced back to a style from the 20th century. I like to think of fashion as a revolving door...it always comes back around again and I have been seeing more and more of that as we get further into the new millennium. Are you currently stuck in a style rut and wanting a bit of a change or maybe you just want to update your current style a bit? Check out these 9 style inspirations from the 1900s.

1910
I'm starting off 10 years into the 20th century because that's when fashion really started to take flight. During this time women's dresses got a bit shorter and the heels got a little higher. In the 1910s fashion was characterized by a rich atmosphere and women were wearing long silky lace dresses with expensive jewelry. These women spent a lot of time and money looking amazing until World War 1 then they went to the more practical hobble skirts with jackets and boots. I used a combination of these two styles when choosing my fashion inspiration example. I chose this gorgeous lace ankle length dress and paired it with a nice pair of black lace up heeled boots and an adorable little fur purse. You can shop this look HERE

1920
The war was over and women were once again wanting to spend money. But this time the skirts got a lot shorter and so did the hairstyles. Enter the age of the flapper...women who broke conventional rules and flaunted their disdain for "acceptable behavior". These women wanted to be seen as equals so instead of wearing form fitting clothing they wore straight dresses that were boxy yet flashy and cut their hair to boyish lengths. For my fashion inspiration example I chose a beautiful red fringe flapper style dress and paired it with some adorable heeled mary janes and a cute fan shaped bag. You can shop this look HERE

1930
In the 1930s America saw the Great Depression and many women had no choice but to switch to more practical clothing instead of the extravagant items they were used to wearing. Also, many women went to work during this time to help provide for the family so female business attire became mainstream. Most women during this time wore skirts or jeans at the natural waist and accentuated this with a small belt. I used this style for my fashion inspiration example. I chose a long high waisted skirt with a flared bottom and paired it with a black and white polka dot button down blouse, a pair of black and white heeled shoes and an adorable two tone purse. You can shop this look HERE.

1940
The 1940s saw another World War as America went to war yet again but this time women had to step into formerly assumed male only jobs to compensate for the huge amount of men who went to war during this decade. This required more loose fitting attire and shorter skirts (shin length) to allow for better movement. During this time button down dresses became the norm as women everywhere were donning them and heading to work. The waistline got a little lower as women didn't feel it necessary to have a super tiny waist. For my fashion inspiration example I chose a simple green button down dress with a pair of two tone nude short heeled shoes and a tan purse. You can shop this look HERE

1950
In the 1950s the cars got faster, malt shops became the norm, and girls everywhere wanted poodle skirts and sneakers. Even the women were wearing their skirts wide...the wider the better which is why many ladies during this period would wear petticoats with hoops in the bottom to keep their skirt looking full all day. For my fashion inspiration example I steered clear of the poodle skirt because while I feel this style of skirt might see a comeback I doubt the poodle will. Instead I chose a super adorable black and white polka dot dress with a small belted waist and wide flared skirt and paired it with some cute black heels and a black purse. You can shop this look HERE.

1960
The 1960s saw the huge Beatles craze sweep the nation. Everyone loved the Beatles and this gave way to London fashion becoming widely popular in the states. The female silhouette went from curvy to super thin with the introduction of the popular model Twiggy and women everywhere started wearing straight boxy dresses again (kind of like in the 20s) but this time plaids and wild floral prints were popular instead of fringe and sequins and the hem was WAY shorter. Also, the 1960s saw the beginning of the knee high boots frenzy and everyone had at least one pair of "go go boots". For my fashion inspiration example I chose a cute red plaid mini dress and paired it with some black heeled knee high boots and a cute black bag. You can shop this look HERE.

1970
America went to war yet again in the 70s only this time it was met with a lot of opposition especially from the young generation. These flower children as they would soon be called were all about peace and love...and of course some really amazing music! During this decade jeans became more popular for women who loved their hems wide and their waist high. The dresses once again got longer (maxi dresses) and women were wearing tops that tied around the neck (halter tops) as opposed to having sleeves (even though many wore bell sleeved tops as well). Also, women still loved to wear heels but wanted them to be more comfortable so wedges were the solution that came out of the 70s. For my fashion inspiration example I chose a gorgeous pink halter top maxi dress and paired it with some white wedge sandals and a cute white cross body purse. You can shop this look HERE.

1980
The 80s were the wildest and most inventive decade of the 20th century. We saw the first car phones during this time and of course style went in so many different ways that you couldn't really go wrong with whatever you decided to wear. The best style from the 80s (my birth decade) was the punk rock style. The makeup was super thick with bright colors and leather (or pleather to be more accurate) became the material of choice for all punk rock chicks. Anything with tons of lace or big shoulder pads was also super popular as long as you knew who you were and owned whatever style you were wearing. For my fashion inspiration example I chose a sleeveless black leather dress and paired it with some cute black heels and a black purse. You can shop this look HERE.

1990
Clueless was the movie of the 90s and with it came some great style which shaped the way I personally dressed and how many other girls like me dressed throughout the whole entire decade. Plaid was super popular during the 90s and so were cropped shirts and clogs. Oh the clogs I used to own...Then the late 90s saw the rise of the Spice Girls and fashion once again took a turn only this time toward short shorts and dresses with pleather and platform sneakers being the most popular. For my fashion inspiration example I chose a red plaid mini skirt and paired it with a red cropped sweater, some cute red strappy heels, and a red purse. (Cher from Clueless would be proud) You can shop this look HERE

I'm so thankful that I was born in the 20th century and was able to witness some of the greatest fashion breakthroughs of all time. Which decade is your favorite for fashion inspiration? Mine is of course the 90s with the 70s as a very close second, but as always I will look for anything to inspire my style. Hopefully you will now do the same. Remember...never let yourself get stuck in a fashion rut and seek out new inspirations daily. Have a wonderful day and happy shopping :)

White Sweater And Blanket Scarf

Happy hump day!! Thank God this week is halfway over already. I don't know about you but for me this has been one long hard week and I'm so ready for it to be over. Besides, I have a lot of awesome stuff planned for the weekend and I'm ready to get to it. Friday I'm taking my beautiful mom out to lunch for her 62nd Birthday, then that night my sweetie and I have plans for dinner with another couple, and on Saturday I have a lunch date with a good friend of mine. I really can't wait to get this weekend started so I'll kick off this hump day right by sharing with you my OOTW. For this week I chose to wear an adorable sweater and blanket scarf combo that is super adorable and I know you'll love it as much as I do. So, where did I find this sweater and where can you snag one for yourself?

The Sweater
I'm normally not a huge fan of the color white simply because I'm a klutz and I always end up spilling something on myself and then I end up having to walk around the rest of the day with a big ugly stain on my outfit LOL but I decided to give this white sweater a shot since I knew I could easily pair it with a scarf of some kind. I found this sweater while on a recent shopping trip to Walmart with my mom and I thought it was so bright and pretty that I had to have it. At less than $10 I knew it would be a good buy even if I did end up staining it :) Unfortunately this sweater is no longer available online but you may still find one on clearance at your local store. I linked a similar one below. Now that I had a cute neutral colored sweater I was on the hunt for a scarf and some boots to complete the outfit idea I had in my head...so how did I end up styling this sweater and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I knew I wanted a scarf so I went to my local Burke's Outlet store where I spotted this gorgeous blanket scarf for only $10! I love this scarf!! The color is so pretty and it's so big and comfy even though I did have a bit of fun trying to figure out how I wanted to wear it LOL. I ended up making a triangle out of the fabric and wrapping the ends around the back of my neck (Pinterest)...it worked great even though the front came down just a little too far in my opinion. Oh well, I was warm and cozy and that's all that mattered :) I decided to pair this sweater/scarf combo with my awesome skinny jeggings from Hollister and these amazing tan knee high boots from Burke's Outlet that my mom got me for Christmas! I love the way this outfit turned out and I can't wait until I get to wear it again! To make this a more casual outfit you could wear a cute pair of white Converse sneakers instead and skip the scarf altogether. If you love scarves like I do then you can choose just about any color and pattern you want and it would look great with this white sweater. If you want to have the dressy look without heels then you can wear a cute pair of flat riding boots or even a nice pair of ballet flats. One of the best things about having a white sweater is the possibilities are endless :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! Aren't you super excited that another week has started...LOL If you're like me then you quite literally had to drag yourself out of bed this morning. It's ok though because in 5 short days it will be the weekend again! Also, for my fashionistas who have a normal work schedule (I'm stuck on the night shift) tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I'm sure your sweetie has something special planned for you :) If you're single then just be sure to do something a little special for yourself tomorrow...get a larger size coffee or buy that box of chocolates you've been wanting so badly. No matter what just be sure to enjoy your day. For today's Must Have Monday post I have picked out 5 of the cutest Valentine's Day items that I know you will love and would be perfect for tomorrow's festivities :)

Must Haves
1-Kate Spade red hearts purse (Kate Spade, $298)
2-Red hearts phone case (Macy's, $45)
3-Pink cat sweatshirt (Nylon, $26)
4-Red rabbit fur pom pom keychain (Neiman Marcus, $48)
5-Valentine's Day manicure (Pinterest, $49)

I love Kate Spade! Everything she makes is so adorable and this purse is just another example of that. This purse will be perfect for tomorrow night and even after. I'd use this purse all year long myself :) Festive phone cases are the best and this adorable red hearts case by Kate Spade is super cute! I really do need this one in my life :) I chose this funny sweatshirt for all my single ladies out there. How cute is this top? I'd totally wear this now even though I am in a relationship LOL :) Pom pom keychains are EVERYTHING right now. I don't think I've seen a single person yet without one of these adorable purse ornaments attached to their bag. This red heart one is actual rabbit fur so if you're an animal lover then you will need to find one that is faux...that's what I always do :) Having gorgeous nails always makes me feel extra pretty so getting a Valentine's manicure would be so awesome! I have seen several different ones but this particular set is my favorite :) If you'd like to have any of these items you can find them HERE

Who's ready for Valentine's Day? Are you in a relationship or are you flying solo this year? Which of these items would you love to have for your Valentine's Day festivities? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love these items as much as I do. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

3 Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas

Hey everyone and happy Saturday! I know I normally post on Friday but the last few weeks have been really busy so I will probably end up posting on Saturday from time to time. You know how it goes ladies...life happens. LOL So, who's ready for Valentine's Day on Tuesday? Are you getting to spend time with your sweetie this year? I actually have to work Tuesday night and my sweetie has a seminar to go to so I won't get to see him :( BUT we are planning to celebrate either tonight or next Saturday instead so at least it's something. If you are planning on going out for the most romantic day of the year (whether it be this Tuesday or this weekend) what are you going to wear? This is always the most important decision for me because I always want to look my very best...and I have an excuse to buy a new outfit as well ;) LOL If you seriously have no idea what to wear then you're in luck...I have chosen 3 different outfits all with different styles so no matter what you plan to do for the big day I got you covered!

#1-Dressy Outfit
If you're sweetie is planning on taking you out somewhere really nice like a 5 star restaurant (you know the really fancy ones you have to make reservations for) then this is the type of outfit for you. You always want to look your very best at fancy places as some of them actually require it so, in my opinion, a nice dress is always the way to go. For my example I chose this gorgeous red lace dress and paired it with some pretty red pumps and the most adorable Kate Spade purse ever! Isn't that little red heart absolutely perfect for the occasion?! If you hate the very thought of wearing a dress (I have several friends who fit into this category) then a dressy pantsuit will be just fine. Just remember that jeans are NOT dressy and should never be worn to a really dressy event. If you love this outfit you can get it HERE

#2-Dressy Casual
If you're sweetie is planning on taking you out for a romantic dinner but not at a huge fancy restaurant then you'll of course want to skip the fancy dress as well and opt for something a little more casual. Jeans are super casual but throw on some heels and a nice top and you've turned a casual outfit into a dressy casual one. This type of outfit is always my go to for special occasions (as I rarely see 5 star restaurants LOL) because I LOVE wearing heels but don't always want to look too over dressed. For my example I chose a pretty red long sleeve uneven hem top and paired it with some skinny jeans, a pair of beautiful red zip up heeled booties, and a super cute red heart shaped purse. If you're not into heels or just can't wear them then throw on a cute pair of red lace up flats instead. You'll still have that dressy casual look but without the hurting feet ;) You can shop this look HERE.

#3-Casual Outfit
If you're sweetie has decided to take you out for something a little more fun like a movie or maybe a couple of rounds of mini golf the you'll definitely want something super casual and comfortable. Sneakers are always the way to go if you want to be comfy and of course a cute sweatshirt or sweater will keep you warm since it is still cold in most parts of the country (unless you live in Texas). For my example I chose an adorable red off the shoulder heart print sweatshirt and paired it with some black jeggings, the cutest pair of striped sneakers, and a super cute black heart shaped purse. If you're not into this style of shoe, a cute pair of Converse or Adidas would look just as cute and still be really comfy. If you would love to have any of the items pictured you can find them HERE.

So, have you decided on what type of outfit you'll be wearing this Valentine's Day? Which outfit style is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who may need some help deciding on what to wear on their upcoming V-Day date. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and happy shopping :)

Tan Dress And Colorful Scarf

Happy hump day everyone!! One of my favorite things about having a 3 day weekend is how fast the next week seems to fly by :) I only have two more nights of work then it's time for the weekend again. How awesome is that?! Hopefully these next two nights fly by because I have so much to do this weekend and I'm ready to get to it. In case you haven't already noticed by now, Wednesdays have officially become my outfit of the week post. I try not to overwhelm you with pictures of me in my outfits so I have set aside one post each week to share my super cute outfits with you...unless I happen to have an extra outfit that I'm just dying to share with you LOL. For this week's OOTW post I have the cutest dress/scarf combo that I absolutely love and I'm sure you will think it's pretty awesome too :)

The Dress
I found this super cute dress while shopping at Buckle with my friend Myrna back in August for my birthday. Yes I said August but it was too hot to wear a long sleeve dress at that time so it got shoved to the back of my closet where I recently found it again LOL. I'm sure all my fashionistas can relate to that :) This dress was actually a birthday present from my friend who saw how cute it looked on me and wanted me to have it...isn't she sweet?! I love everything about this dress. It's stretchy but not too much and it's textured without adding too much bulk. Also, the color is great too! I like wearing neutral colored clothing especially when I find a colorful scarf and have no idea what I'm going to wear it with ;) At less than $30 this dress is a steal (especially at Buckle where everything is a bit pricey) and I'm really happy I found it. So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I knew I wanted to wear a scarf with this as soon as I got it so I went on the hunt for a beautiful colorful scarf to add some color to the dress. I found this one at Walmart on clearance for only $3 and it came with an extra scarf so I got two for the price of one which is why I love bargain shopping :) As for the shoes, at first I was undecided as to what shoes would look good with this dress/scarf combo then I remembered my beautiful fur heeled boots that I got from JustFab a few years back. They were perfect! I love how the scarf is the focal point of the outfit and gives the whole ensemble a pop of color! You could change it up and wear a pair of flat boots, ballet flats, pumps, or thigh high boots as well. Since this dress is a neutral tan color you can basically choose any color scarf you want or skip the scarf altogether and opt for an awesome pair of bold print shoes instead. No matter how you choose to style this dress just remember to own your style :)

Shop This Look: Dress / Scarf *similar/ Boots *similar

Isn't this dress adorable? How about this super cute colorful scarf? Do you like how I styled this dress? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this dress as much as I do. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week and happy shopping :)

Must Have Monday

Hey everyone and happy Monday! I can't believe the weekend flew by as quick as it did...and I even had a 3 day weekend and it's gone :( It's all good though because I got a lot done for my business this weekend and I now only have 4 days to work this week before the weekend starts all over again. Woohoo!!! So, who has plans for the upcoming weekend already? I'm spending the first part of the weekend with my sweetie and his family then I plan to spend the rest of it lounging in front of the TV enjoying some much needed down time. For this week's Must Have Monday post I decided to talk about the essentials you need for a relaxing night at home :)

Must Haves
1-Throw blanket (Wayfair, Sold Out)
2-House Slippers (Belk, $29)
3-Pajamas (Woolrich, $48)
4-Fuzzy Socks (New chic, $4.28)
5-Throw Pillow (Ava Wilde, $17)

As a fashionista there are certain must have items I need in order to have a cute, comfy, and stylish relaxing night at home. Of course you can really wear anything you want because no one will be there to see you, but I always like to match even when I'm home alone :) A super soft throw blanket is always a must for lounging in front of the TV. Even in the summer I get cold because the AC is always on so a throw blanket is always an essential part of my night :) House slippers are also important because you may need to walk into the garage or outside on the porch for whatever reason so you need to have a pair of these on hand :) Pajamas are probably the most important part of a relaxing night at home. I don't know about you, but as soon as I'm in my house the clothes come off and the pajamas go on. You could definitely say I live in pajamas year round :) Fuzzy socks are another important part of a relaxing night at home because your feet might get cold. Mine are always cold so even in the summer I always have a cute pair of fuzzy socks on to match my pajamas :) The last important piece of this must have puzzle is of course the throw pillow! There's nothing more relaxing then propping a pillow under your feet or behind your back as you watch TV :) You can shop all these super cute items HERE.

Is relaxing at home one of your favorite things to do? What is your number one must have item for lounging in front of the TV? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who love to relax at home as much as I do. I hope you have an amazing week and happy shopping :)

What Are You Wearing Super Bowl Sunday?

Hey everyone and happy weekend! This post was meant to go out yesterday but it was a very busy day for me and there was simply no time, but here it is early Saturday morning and I'm sitting here with my coffee making sure this gets out before tomorrow :) So, who knows what tomorrow is?? SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!! I actually took the night off so I could stay home with my sweetie and watch the game. I'm not usually a big football fan but there's just something about the super bowl that makes me have to watch it every year...maybe it's the commercials. LOL The most important question for all my fashionistas is "what are you going to wear tomorrow"? You know we always look for any excuse to get a new outfit, right ladies? ;) Well I have realized there are two types of women on game day...well technically 3 but the third is the one who hates football and doesn't care to dress the part so we will skip that one LOL...the first is the girl who loves football so much she has to wear a jersey and roots for the team right along with the guys and then there's the second type who just buys cute little team inspired accessories to show team spirit without going overboard. No matter which type you are or what team you're rooting for this year I have some ideas for what you could wear on game day...

Sports Fanatic
We all know these girls when we see them...hanging with the guys and screaming at the TV screen like a lunatic. LOL It's all good I love your enthusiasm and I know what you will be wearing on game day as well...a jersey!! No sports fanatic ever goes to a big game event without wearing her team's jersey so I have chosen two different outfits for both teams to give you an idea of how to simply style your jersey and still look super cute and casual. The first example is for the New England Patriots fan: I have chosen an official super bowl jersey and paired it with some skinny jeans and a pair of classic adidas. Just a cute simple outfit that makes you feel like one of the guys without actually looking like it. The second example is for the Atlanta Falcons fan: I also chose the official super bowl jersey and paired it with a darker pair of skinny jeans but this time I chose a cute pair of red converse instead. I love this outfit!! It's super comfy and casual so you can relax while watching the game with the guys :) You can shop the Patriots look HERE and the Falcons look HERE.

Subtle Supporter
This is definitely the category I fall into. I love having an excuse to buy cute new accessories but I'm not so into sports that I would wear a jersey. So, the solution is simple...wear team colors and choose one team accessory to wear with your outfit. If you're a Patriots fan then you want to wear something dark blue and maybe one of the super cute accessories I have chosen for my first example to go with it. There's a super cute charm bracelet, a purse by Doonie & Burke, a Patriots hat, a cute pair of earrings, and a watch. I would definitely choose the bracelet on this one. It's a great fashion accessory that shows off team spirit in a nice subtle way. If you're a Falcons fan then you should wear something red with one of the adorable accessories I have chosen in my second example. You can choose from these super cute earrings, this stretch bracelet, yet another awesome Doonie & Burke purse, this pretty watch, or this gorgeous scarf. I would sport the scarf for sure on this one only with a black top instead of red. You can shop the Patriots accessories HERE and the Falcons accessories HERE.

Which team's colors will you be wearing this year? Any predictions on who the winner will be? I'm going to go with the Patriots on this one...sorry Falcons fans but I really think the Patriots are going to take it this year. It may be a close one though. I'd love to hear your super bowl predictions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love and share this post with all your friends who would love some cute game day inspirations. I hope you have an amazing weekend and happy shopping :)

Green And White Striped Sweater

Happy hump day everyone! I'm so glad that it's Wednesday already because that means I only have two nights left of work before my 3 day weekend. I have so much to do this weekend and the super bowl is on Sunday too so I'm looking forward to that as well. Do any of my fashionistas have shopping plans this weekend? You know I do...I think I literally go shopping once or twice a week but I'm always finding great deals to share with you so it's totally worth it :) This week I have found the cutest sweater and matching scarf combo that I know you'll love as much as I do. Not only is it super comfy and a really pretty color, but it's also less than $10!!! So, where can you snag one of these cuties for yourself?

The Sweater
I found this sweater while on a recent shopping trip with my mom (yes she's normally my shopping partner) at Walmart and I immediately fell in love with the beautiful green color and the fact it has a matching scarf. I love wearing sweaters in the winter even if it is a tad bit warm here in Texas but I'm usually always cold anyway so I can get away with it. LOL Besides, this sweater has a thin knit which makes it a little on the cooler side anyway. I was so happy with this sweater and to get it at such a great price made me love it even more :) Unfortunately this color is no longer available online but I still posted a link to this sweater below because there are other colors you may like just as much if not better. So, how did I end up styling this beauty and how can you change it up to match your style?

My Style
I was wearing this sweater on a lunch date with one of my girlfriends and I wanted to be super comfy so I decided to go with a casual look. I paired this sweater with my awesome new Lauren Conrad jeans from Kohl's that I love and my extremely comfortable UGGs that my best friend got me from Journey's a few years back. Since it was one of those rare cold Texas days I actually needed a jacket as well so I found this light tan sherpa lined jacket in the back of my closet (I hardly ever need it) from Walmart that actually ended up matching my UGGs perfectly. That was totally not planned and I think it's so awesome when stuff like that happens :) If you want to be a bit more dressy you could wear a cute pair of riding boots or even heeled boots with this sweater instead. It would also go with a cute pair of ballet flats or even some Converse sneakers for an even more casual look. If you like this look you can follow the links below but no matter how you decide to style it I'm sure you'll look amazing :)

Isn't this sweater/scarf combo adorable? Did you like how I styled it? How would you style it differently? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends who would love this sweater as much as I do. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week and happy shopping :)
