Must Have Shoes Of The Week

Happy memorial day everyone 🌝 Many of you have today off so I hope you're enjoying every minute of it! I'll be heading back to work later this evening but I was lucky enough to have yesterday off to spend with my sweetie so I'm happy. Although the official summer season doesn't begin until June 20th, most people feel that summer begins memorial day weekend. Are you ready for summer? I'm ready for swimming and traveling but not the Texas heat! That's one thing about living in Texas that I don't like...it's so hot!! With that being said, I'm going to hold on to spring for just a little longer and share with you an awesome style of shoe that gained popularity this spring and looks to keep going strong right into the summer season. 👡

The block heel sandal is such a beautiful style of shoe for both the spring and summer seasons. They are open which allows your feet to breathe and the ball of the foot doesn't have that high platform that causes some people to wobble as they walk. They are flatter to the ground which allows for better footing. The heel isn't very high either which is great for those of you who want to wear heels but can't seem to walk in the really high ones. If you want to dress nice and go out on a date 💑 but not overdo it then these shoes are perfect for you.

There are many different types of block heels to choose from so for my examples I chose two that in my opinion are the absolute best and most versatile. For the first choice I chose a beautiful strappy blue pair of block heels and paired them with a white & blue floral dress and a blue purse. While blue isn't as versatile as nude or black, it is still a great color for spring and summer and will go great with your floral or striped dresses. 👗 For the second choice I chose a brown pair of lace up block heels and paired them with an ivory & neutral tone floral dress and a brown purse. Brown is a great neutral color and will match so many different items in your closet that you will find yourself practically living in these shoes. 😉 Both outfits are perfect for a day out with your sweetie or for church. If you'd like to recreate either look you can click on the Polyvore link below and get your shopping on.

Aren't these shoes super adorable?! Which pair is your favorite? How would you style them differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your memorial day and as always happy shopping 💲💳

Paisley Print Tank

Happy Sunday everyone 😃 How's your weekend going so far? Mine started out rough with all the flooding and not being able to go anywhere but it's ending on a high note. I'm enjoying my last day off by just relaxing at home and enjoying time with my sweetie. Yesterday I ventured out into the flood waters and fought my way to the mall 😨 so I could search for all the hot new items to share with you on Thursdays post. For today I'd like to share with you the super cute outfit I wore on yesterday's outing and of course tell you where you can get it...

This awesome paisley print tank was one of the first things I saw upon entering Image last weekend. I love tans and neutrals so this tank was right up my alley and the cute print on the front along with the fact it was less than $15 made this tank a must have. I hadn't done much shopping here before so I wasn't sure what size I would need so I tried on both a small and a medium. The small fit perfectly. 😊 The material of the shirt is made of spandex so it's really stretchy but not overly tight. This is perfect for those of us with a few pudges here and there we don't want to show to the world. So how did I style this amazing tank?...

I knew I was going to be doing a lot of shopping and therefore a lot of walking so I decided to go for the casual comfy look and paired the tank with a pair of cropped skinny jeans and jeweled sandals. The cropped skinnies are super stretchy and comfortable. I found them at Kohl's a couple of months back and I'm very happy with my purchase. The jeweled sandals add a little spice to my outfit. 😉 I found them at Ross a few years back and they have become one of my favorite pairs that I own. If you'd like, you could wear a cute pair of wedges instead to create a more dressy look. 👗 This is the perfect outfit for a day of shopping or just hanging out with your girlfriends. Image hasn't updated their webpage in quite a while so I linked some similar items for you below. You can always head to the store nearest you and find this exact tank. To recreate my look:

Tank similar / plus
Jeans same / plus
Sandals similar

Isn't this tank super cute? How would you style it differently? Wedges or sandals? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy shopping 💲💳

What To Wear For Memorial Day Weekend

What comes to mind when you think of memorial day weekend? Is it time off work? How about that get together at your friends house you've been planning for the last several weeks? Perhaps your taking your family to the local water park to kick off the summer season! No matter what your plans are you want to make sure you dress your best. Since memorial day is set aside each year to honor the service men or women who have been killed in active duty we should certainly wear our military colors this weekend to show we care. I have chosen 5 outfits that I think would be great for all those different holiday weekend activities you have planned and I stayed with the red, white, and blue color scheme to honor our heroes :)

#1 Barbeque/Outdoor get together
I love being invited to and hosting a barbeque on a holiday weekend. Memorial day and barbeques tend to go hand in hand especially here in the south. There's no better way to kick off the summer season than to cook up some steaks and hamburgers on the grill and soak up some of the wonderful warm air. So what do you wear to one of these outdoor get togethers? First of all you want to make sure you wear something super comfortable. You may be standing a lot and eating a ton of food so wear something with some breathing room and make sure your foot attire will last the whole day. Secondly you want something with a thin breathable material so you don't get too hot. Last but not least you want to stick with the holiday colors and wear something traditional. It doesn't have to have the American flag on it but at least matching the colors would be nice. For my example I chose a cute pair of red shorts and paired them with a white tank with a cherry pattern and red sandals. I think wearing fruit on ones clothing really screams SUMMER and cherries match the red scheme perfectly so this tank is absolutely wonderful. If you'd like to recreate this look click on the polyvore link below to get all the outfit details.

#2 Lake/Water Park
Probably the second most popular thing to do memorial day weekend is go to the lake or a water park. This is another great way to kick off the summer season and stay cool in the process. If you have a boat you can even have an awesome party right out on the lake or go tubing which is one one my favorite things to do. For those of you hitting up the water park be sure to take plenty of sunscreen and enjoy those thrilling rides and slides :) You can also show your support while swimming by wearing a swimsuit matching the holiday colors. I have found 3 super cute and fashionable swimsuits that will make you look amazing and help you show your support for our fallen service men and women. The first one is an old pinup style one piece in red, white, and blue that will look good on just about anyone especially my curvy girls out there. Holla! The second one is just a simple red bikini that will make any woman look like a knockout. Just make sure you have plenty of courage before putting on this tiny thing. The third one is an off the shoulder navy blue one piece that will work with any body type and is really trending right now. All of these swimsuits will go great with a straw purse and flip flops. If you like any of these you can click on the polyvore link below to get the outfit details.

#3 Movie Date/Dinner Date
Let's face it, some of you are simply going to enjoy the time off with your sweetie and probably just hit up a movie or go out for a nice dinner. There's absolutley nothing wrong with that. I plan to get in a dinner date with my love as well so by all means go enjoy your weekend and have a margarita for me ;) There's actually a pretty awesome place close to where I live that offers dinner while watching your movie. If there's one near you and you haven't had the pleasure of visiting this place yet you should do that this weekend. Even though this isn't considered a memorial day event you can still show your support by wearing something that fits into the color scheme. For my example I chose a gorgeous navy blue peasant blouse and paired it with white skinny jeans and a pair of navy blue heels. You will look sleek and stylish in this outfit and since you will be sitting down most of the night it's okay to wear those heels. If you'd like to learn the details on this outfit be sure to click the polyvore link below.

POLYVORE

#4 Shopping/Strolling through town
One awesome thing about memorial day weekend is all the sales that will be going on! For all my shopoholics out there get your credit cards ready for some great deals this weekend! Even if you don't want to spend too much money you can still stroll through town and check out all the shops...we call that window shopping. It's a great way to spend time with friends or your sweetie and get some exercise in as well. Again you can show your support to our fallen heroes by dressing in the traditional memorial day colors. For my example I chose an adorable red sundress and paired it with white sandals and white accessories. The dress is lightweight which will keep you cool and the cute hat I added will make you super stylish and protect your delicate skin from the sun. I added this one for all my pale skin sisters out there! If you'd like to purchase any of these items just click the polyvore link below and you can get all the details from there.

POLYVORE

#5 Parade/Museum
You can never forget the memorial day parades that will be going on in cities all over the country this weekend. These are really popular with parents who want to take their kids to see pretty floats and possibly catch some candy in the proccess. Also, there will be museums offering special rates or exhibits for you to bring your family to. Both of these are great ways to enjoy the holiday weekend and heck if the parade is early enough in the day you could even do both. Woohoo!! As well as with the other 4 you want to be sure to dress in the holiday weekend color scheme but be sure to wear something lightweight for the parade but warm enough for that cold museum. For my example I chose the cutest pair of blue and white striped shorts and paired them with a blue camisole tank and blue sandals. Be sure to bring a cardigan for your trip to the museum though. You could really switch it up and wear a red shirt and sandals to bring out all the colors but I have an OCD about matching my patterns and colors so I'll stick with the blue. LOL To recreate this look be sure to click on the polyvore link below to get all the outfit details.

So have you decided what you want to do this memorial day weekend? I plan to do a little shopping and a dinner date myself but no matter what you decide to do let's be mindful of what this holiday is really about. To all my readers who have lost loved ones in active duty I'd like to say I'm sorry for your loss and thank you to your loved one for giving up their life so we can all be free. I'll show my support this weekend...will you?! I'd love to know what your doing and wearing this memorial day weekend so leave me a comment and let me know what your plans are. I hope you have a safe and happy holiday weekend and as always happy shopping!

Wish Review- The Pink Pointed Toe Flats

Happy Friday everyone 😃 The weekend is finally here and I don't know about you but I'm ready for it. I hope your weekend starts off better than mine...its flooding ⚡☔ here in Southeast Texas and I'm pretty much flooded in my house. All the roads are closed and there have been rescues going on all day for people who think the water is more shallow than it really is. To all my readers going through this remember "don't drown turn around". With that being said, I had originally written a memorial day post for today but I need wifi to make it look right and since getting to a connection today isn't possible I've decided to go ahead and post next Friday's article instead.

Since I first started using the Wish app I've been unable to stop. It's the most addicting thing I've encountered in a while. Luckily their stuff is super affordable so while I'm buying a lot I'm not really spending a lot. This time I ordered the cutest pair of pink pointed toe flats for only $14!! I don't own any pink flats and when I saw these I knew I must remedy that little problem immediately. When I got them in the mail I noticed a weird odor coming from them. It almost smells like glue but it does go away if you take them out of the box and let them air out. My other complaint is the material of the sliver strap is very thin and I felt like it was going to break when I tried them on. Also one of the shoes was slightly bigger than the other which was a little annoying but not totally unwearable. I sucked it up and wore them anyway and I'm really glad I did.  😎

I decided to wear my new shoes with a floral blouse that I've had for a few years and my awesome jeans from Aeropostale that I love so much. The color of the shoes matched the flowers in the blouse perfectly and the style was on point. Me and my sweetie were going out to grab a bite to eat so I threw this little outfit together and I must say I'm really happy with my choice. This is a great outfit for a lunch date or a day out shopping with your girlfriends. You could also wear these shoes with a cute dress or skirt to dress them up even more. To recreate my look:

Shoes: same
Shirt: similar / plus
Jeans: similar / plus

Aren't these shoes super cute?! While there were a few set backs at first I think overall it was a good buy. I now have a cute pair of pink flats that can be worn with several different styles as long as I don't get too rough with them. Haha 😆 What do you think of these shoes? Do you think they're awesome like I do? Or do you think "they look like witch shoes" ?...that's my boyfriend's opinion by the way. I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Friday and happy shopping 💲💳

Tigress' Picks Of The Week

Happy Thursday everyone! It's my last night of work for the week and I'm super excited to get this weekend started. It's just too bad the rain is starting to come in already. It's supposed to rain the whole weekend ☔ Oh well I'll do what I always do in this situation...go shopping! Well at least one day anyway. I think my other two days off I'll spend relaxing with my love. If shopping is something you're planning on doing sometime this weekend I have found some amazing items at a pretty awesome store just for you. So what store am I talking about this week?...

What's Trending Right Now At IMAGE

I had never heard of Image until they opened a store at the local shopping mall. After doing a bit of digging it looks as if they have several stores scattered around a couple of different malls in the Houston area. I'm not sure if they have stores in other states but they do have a website you can check out if you would like to browse through their pretty sweet inventory. 👢 Image offers both juniors and juniors plus clothing at reasonable prices and their selections are currently fashionable and up to date. I really enjoyed browsing through the racks here and I can't wait to go back in the fall and see what they have to offer then.

During this shopping excursion I found 9 clothing items that I had to try on and 2 pairs of shoes that I think are really cute and perfect for the spring/summer seasons. Their website is currently down so I couldn't link the following items like I wanted to but I did put the direct link to the store above so maybe it will be up and running again soon. Until then you can check out the pics at the bottom of this post, search for a store near you and then shop until you drop 😆
Pink floral tank
Black lace tank
Mint green distressed skinny jeans
Black floral tank
Tan bohemian tank
Cream floral dress
Yellow ruffle romper
Navy blue and white striped romper
Ivory lace slip dress
Lace up sandals
Floral platform sneakers
Out of everything I tried on I loved the tan bohemian tank the best so it came home with me 😉and will be featured on a future blog post. I almost got the Navy blue and white striped romper as well but I told myself only one thing so it lost out to the tank. All of these items were super cute on and it was really hard to choose so be careful when you go not to overspend because here it's really easy to do since none of these items were over $30.

Doesn't this store have some pretty awesome clothes? Which item was your favorite and how would you wear it? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. If there's a store you'd like me to shop at and review send me an email at fashionabletigress@gmail.com I hope you enjoy the rest of your Thursday and happy shopping 💲💳

Bell Sleeve Blouse

Happy hump day everyone!! It's Wednesday and that means this week is halfway over. Woohoo 😃 I have a three day weekend coming up and I'm so ready to get to it even though it's supposed to rain here in Southeast Texas. Oh well that's why I always have a contingency plan. I have an idea...shopping is a great way to get in out of the rain. 😉 If you do decide to go shopping I have found an amazing blouse for you. It's super cute and affordable and should be a must have for any woman's wardrobe.

I love the bell sleeve tops that are all over Pinterest and Facebook right now. They are so retro and super feminine that I just knew I had to own at least one. Luckily I found the perfect one while on a recent shopping trip to Burke's Outlet for less than $15!! Blue isn't my first color of choice usually but I'm so glad I decided to give this blouse a try. The color goes great with my pale skin tone and it hangs just right over my frame so it's not too loose and not too tight. The material is silky smooth but not stretchy so be sure to buy your correct size or it may not fit very well in the shoulders when you try to cross your arms. I love how big the sleeves are. It makes me feel like the ultimate retro princess when I wear it 👑 This particular shirt is no longer available online so I've linked a few similar items. You may still be able to find this exact blouse at your nearest Burke's Outlet store.

For this blouse I decided to keep with the retro theme and wear a pair of distressed bell bottom jeans. I found these jeans a few weeks back from Macy's on sale for less than $25. They are the perfect fit for both me and the outfit because I finally found a pair of bell bottom jeans that don't drag the ground when I wear them. Granted I am wearing a very tall pair of chunky heeled booties but all of these types of jeans that I've tried on before drag the ground even then so this is such a WIN for these awesome jeans. My chunky heeled booties are so comfortable. I love the all over lace and the tie up front that further give this entire outfit that super "rad" retro feel. I purchased these beauties online from Shoe Dazzle a few years back on sale for about $20 and I've never regretted this particular impulse buy 💸 This is the perfect outfit for that dinner date with your friends or family that you have coming up. If you want you could also pair this blouse with a cute white skirt or pants and some sandal wedges to give the whole outfit more of a summer feel. To recreate my look:

Blouse similar similar plus size
Jeans similar similar plus size
Shoes similar

Isn't this blouse so beautiful?! Are you into the retro look? How would you wear this blouse differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your hump day and happy shopping 💲💳

Must Have Shoes Of The Week

Hey everyone! How's it going this beautiful Monday afternoon? I don't know about you but I'm already counting down to the weekend. Not that I hate my job or anything, I just have a 3 day weekend coming up and some fun stuff planned so I'm really looking forward to it. For today's must have shoes of the week post I decided to focus on a specific shoe and not just a style. I found the cutest shoes online that I think are absolutely perfect for the coming summer season and everyone should own a pair of these cuties 😍

While searching through the shoes on the Polyvore website to see if they had anything amazing I came across the most adorable pair of anchor sandals from Claire's for only $20! I absolutely love anchors and the whole nautical look and these are the perfect shoes to pull of that look to perfection. The black and white stripes are super cute and the little gold colored anchors make these shoes a must have for anyone who loves anchors. BTW...anchors are really hot right now so for those of you who want to keep up with the latest fashion trends you should totally snag a pair of these before they are all gone! 😉

When deciding what to wear with these amazing shoes, I decided to keep the style neutral and casual. I chose a black dress for those of you who love dressing in this color. Black is very slimming and match the black stripes in the shoes perfectly. I also chose a white dress for the opposite effect. White is hard to keep clean and it doesn't hide much but it's the perfect color for summer and it matches the white stripes in the shoes. Last but not least, I chose a pair of white shorts and paired them with a black top to show off both colors in the shoes perfectly. All of these outfits are perfect for that summertime stroll through town doing your shopping or for your next vacation with the family. If you'd like to find these items and recreate these styles you can click on the link below and check out the Polyvore website for all the details 😎

Polyvore

Aren't these shoes super adorable? I plan on checking these out this coming weekend myself and hopefully snagging a pair 😃 Which of the three outfits was your favorite? How would you pair these shoes differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Monday and happy shopping 💲💳

Pink Striped Colorblock Shirt

Happy Sunday everyone 😎 I hope you're having an awesome weekend. I got to spend time with two of my bffs and my sweetie so to me it was a great weekend! Today starts a whole new work week for me so I'm about to head back to making that money but before I do I'd like to share with you an awesome shirt I found. It's super cute and cost less than $20! So where can you snag one for yourself?...

I don't normally do a lot of shopping at A'Gaci but I decided to check out the store last weekend and see what they had to offer. This was one of the first things that caught my eye. I love wearing stripes so I was instantly attracted to this shirt. The fact that it was pink at the top and has little buttons made it so much cuter than had it been just plain stripes. I knew I wanted to buy this shirt I was just hoping it would fit me so I made my way to the dressing room and sure enough it fit perfectly. The material is super stretchy but doesn't hug too tightly which is exactly the way I like my shirts to fit. Also the color and style looks wonderful with my complexion and body type. WIN 😃 Now the question was how am I going to wear it?

Since the style of this shirt is pretty casual I decided to stick with that theme and paired it with a cute pair of dark blue skinny jeans that I got from Forever 21 a little while back. I love these jeans. They have the perfect amount of stretch without fitting too tightly and they cost less than $10 which is pretty amazing! To add a little cuteness to the outfit I went with my adorable black pointed toe lace up flats that I found at Burke's Outlet a couple of months ago. These are really stylish and comfortable and gave the whole outfit a slightly more dressy feel while keeping with the casual theme. You could also wear a cute pair of sandals, some Sperrys, or some adorable flats like BOBs. You could even wear shorts or capris instead of jeans for more of a summer feel. To recreate my look:

Wish Review - The Yellow Floral Blouse

Happy Friday everyone! The weekend is finally here and it's time to let loose and go a little crazy 😃 Or chill at home and relax...whatever you're into. Today I got to spend some much needed time with my bff and now I'm about to go have dinner with another awesome friend of mine so my day has been super awesome so far! Before I head off to dinner I wanted to share with you another item that I recently purchased from Wish and give you a review of it as well...

The Yellow Floral Blouse

As soon as I saw this blouse on the Wish website I knew I had to have it. I love floral and I don't own many items in yellow so I thought it would be a great way to add some extra color to my wardrobe. Not to mention this blouse was only $8 shipped. Can you say steal?! All the reviews online said the blouse runs small and to order one size up so I took the advice of everyone and ordered a medium. If I could go back and change that I would. The medium was actually a little big so my normal size of small would've worked out perfectly but I made it work because I absolutely hate returning items especially clothing. In the picture online the shirt seems a bit shorter than the one I received but that could be from me ordering the wrong size. The fabric was a bit thinner than I thought it would be but the color and pattern was exactly as pictured so overall I was happy with this purchase. So how did I pair this beauty?..

I wanted to look dressy yet casual so I decided to pair this blouse with a pair of skinny jeans I got from Aeropostale a couple of years back and my awesome yellow sandals from Payless that I absolutely love! This is the perfect outfit to wear out shopping or for that next lunch date with your bff. If you're not really into yellow this shirt comes in other colors as well and you can always make it more dressy by adding a cute pair of wedges or heels. To recreate my look:

Blouse
Jeans similar
Sandals similar

Isn't this shirt super cute?! How would you wear it differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Heels, wedges, or sandals? Which one would you choose? I hope you have an awesome weekend and happy shopping 💳💲

Tigress' Picks Of The Week

Hey everyone! It's Thursday which means the weekend is right around the corner. I'm so excited to get this week over and start my weekend fun! It's raining and gloomy outside but this weekend is supposed to be absolutely beautiful so I'm  super ready for sunshine and clear skies 🌝 To add some brightness to this rainy day I've picked some really awesome items to share with you from a great store that I think you'll love....

What's Trending Right Now At A'Gaci

If I had to describe A'Gaci I'd probably say it's a slightly more expensive Forever 21. The clothing styles are similar and everything is sectioned off by color but it isn't quite as big as F21 so it's not as overwhelming and it's easier to navigate through. I decided to go through each section and see if anything grabbed my attention and sure enough I ended up with an armful of clothing that I had to try on. This store has a lot of rompers right now which is awesome since rompers are a really hot item for the upcoming summer season and they also have a lot of nautical print stuff which is something everyone is obsessing over at the moment. So if you're into these two items you definitely want to check out this store. Of course there are tons of other styles like pleated skirts and super cute shorts if the aforementioned styles aren't for you. Something to remember when shopping here is the sizes are cut to fit juniors so make sure you get the right size for you. I had to go a size up from what I normally wear in a couple of things I tried on. An extra bonus for all you shoe lovers... There's a whole separate section here with tons of shoes and you're own door if you don't wanna go through the clothing section at all. I was pleasantly surprised with this store and I'll be back in the future for sure 😎

What I Tried On

There were 11 items I chose to try on:
*Red striped shirt similar
*Pink scalloped hem blouse
*Pink striped shirt similar in plus size
*Green peasant blouse
*Blue and black printed boho pants
*Blue button front skirt
*Black and white pleated skirt
*White floral romper
*Tan floral dress similar
*Jeweled sandals
*Strappy pointed toe heels
A few of these items I couldn't find on the website so I linked a similar item. I didn't care for how short the pink scalloped hem blouse and the green peasant blouse were but everything else fit so great that it was hard to choose just one item. I actually ended up going home with two 😆 which will be featured on future blog posts....the pink striped shirt & the  blue and black patterned dressy pants.

What did you think of this week's picks? Which item was your favorite and how would you pair it to make an outfit? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment with your thoughts and opinions. Also if there's a store you'd love for me to shop at and review send me an email at fashionabletigress@gmail.com I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and happy shopping 💲💳

Floral Bodycon Dress

Happy hump day everyone! It's Wednesday and that means we are halfway to the weekend. Woohoo 😄 Have you thought about what you wanna do this weekend or are you just trying to make it through the week without going crazy? Haha I have so many awesome things planned for the weekend and I can't wait for it to get here but since it isn't here yet I'd like to share with you a beautiful dress I found a few weeks back. Hopefully this will help with those mid week blues and put a smile back on your face 😉

I know when I say where I got this dress many of you will be thinking wow does this chick live at that place?! The answer is no obviously, but it is one of the only stores in the small town I live in and I do all my shopping there so there's always something catching my eye as I do my walk through. What store am I referring to you ask? My regular readers can probably guess...Walmart! Yes it's yet another article of clothing from Walmart but who really wants to complain? Walmart clothing is really nice and super affordable so no matter what your budget 💲 is you can always look good when you shop there.

This dress is a great example of just how great their stuff really is. It's absolutely beautiful and cost less than $10! Yes you heard that right. I love the coloring in this dress and the length gives it the old school glam look. The material is also really soft against my skin so this is a major plus 😆  I wanted this dress the first time I saw it but I was concerned it wouldn't look good on me because of the length. I don't normally wear midi dresses because I'm petite and sometimes this length can cut you off and make you look even shorter but luckily that didn't happen with this dress. The bodycon style may not be for everyone however because it's very unforgiving. You should be totally comfortable with your body when you wear a dress like this one because it hugs every curve and little pudge. With a midi dress I wanted to wear heels so it would help me to look taller so I paired this dress with my beautiful pink heels from Shoe Dazzle that I purchased a couple of years ago. These are one of the most comfortable pairs of heels I own but they are most likely not available anymore so I'll link a similar pair below. I was so excited that the color of my shoes matched the flowers in the dress perfectly. It almost seems like it was meant for me to buy this dress 👗😏  This is the perfect outfit to wear on your next dinner date with your sweetie. If heels are too much for you then you can wear wedges or a cute pair of sandals but I really think heels will give this dress that little extra something. To recreate my look:

Must Have Shoes Of The Week

Hey everyone! It's Monday and the start of yet another work week. I hope you had a great weekend but now it's time to get back to the daily grind of making that money 💲 My work week actually started last night so I'm already one day closer to the weekend. Woohoo! Have you had an opportunity to go shopping recently? If so I'm sure you've noticed all the amazing shoes out there in all colors and styles but today I want to talk about one in particular that has grabbed my attention.

THE STUDDED GLADIATOR
I absolutely love these shoes 😍 Not only are they super cute but they are also extremely versatile. I have many pairs of sandals but this is one style that I don't have yet but plan to really soon. How could anyone not be in love with this style? I must admit that I haven't always been a huge fan of the gladiator sandals especially the really tall ones but these studded ones are just too adorable. The studs give these shoes the perfect amount of spice so they aren't plain and boring but they don't overwhelm the shoes and make them too over the top. I chose to feature the black studded Valentino gladiator sandals because they are the  most gorgeous pair I've seen and because Valentino has practically taken over the studded  look this year with all different styles of shoes. While these may be a little on the pricey side, there are a similar pair of these you can snag from Payless for a fraction of the cost.

To show the versatility of these shoes I chose two different outfits to pair them with. The first is a cute pair of blue jean shorts with an off the shoulder elephant print blouse. This is a great outfit for shopping around town or wearing on your summer vacation. The second outfit I chose is a beautiful floral dress which is perfect for that lunch date with your sweetie 😉 If you'd like to recreate either look, I've linked the Polyvore website below for you and you can check out the outfit details directly from there. I've also linked the more Frugal version of these sandals from Payless below as well.

Aren't these shoes awesome? I sure think so! Which outfit was your favorite and how would you pair them differently? Mint Green Elephant Print Tank

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I sure did 😆 I got to spend time with my mom and my sweetie and I got plenty of down time to just relax and recuperate from last week. But today's my first work day of the week so it's time to get back to it. Before I head back to work I'd like to share with you an adorable tank that I wore Friday. If you saw my picks of the week post on Thursday then you may remember this cutie but if not that's okay because I'm about to tell you where you can find one for yourself....

This tank is one of the first items I spotted upon entering Rue 21 last weekend. There were several different colors and patterns but I fell in love with the cute elephant pattern and the mint green color. I knew I had to try this one on and I also knew if it fit it was mine 😉 Thankfully it fit perfectly! The material hung just right and it didn't hug unwanted pudges haha. And the best part?!...it was less than $20! SCORE 😄 I excitedly got the cashier to ring it up for me along with a couple of other items as well and started immediately thinking of how I would wear it and what I'd pair it with. I decided on a pair of distressed skinny jeans that I got from Ross a few weeks back and my adorable ruffle sandals I purchased from Deb before the one in my mall closed down. I wanted cute but casual and it worked out perfectly! This is a great outfit for a day of shopping or a lunch date with your friends. To dress it up a bit more you could wear a skirt or capris and a cute pair of wedges. To recreate my look:

Isn't this the cutest tank you've ever seen? How would you wear it differently? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. If there's a store you'd like me to shop at and review send me an email at fashionabletigress@gmail.com I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and be sure to check back tomorrow for my shoes of the week post.
