Coral And Black - A Perfect Match

Happy hump day everyone 😃 Can you believe it's already Wednesday? It seems like the week just started and now it's halfway over, not that I'm complaining though. Today is also extra special for me...my boyfriend and I have been together 9 months today. I know that doesn't seem like a very long time but every month we are together things just keep getting better and better 😍💑 So who has plans to go shopping this weekend?! I know I sure do and I can't wait for this week to be over so I can get to it but for now I'd like to share with you the cutest maxi skirt that I found on one of my recent shopping trips...

While browsing through the racks at Burke's Outlet recently I came across this beautiful coral maxi skirt that I knew I had to have. Not only is the color absolutely gorgeous but it also has tiny little gold beads all over it and a comfortable thick black band at the top so it doesn't dig into your stomach. I always seem to have a problem with skirts being too tight or pinching my stomach so I usually steer clear of skirts with a thin band. I tried it on and was overjoyed when it fit perfectly and got even more excited when I saw the cost was less than $15! How could this amazing skirt be so affordable? That's just the awesomeness of Burke's. I decided I wanted a bohemian/retro look when styling this skirt so I paired it with a cute black off the shoulder crop top that I got from Kohls last summer and a beautiful pair of black Minnetonka sandals that I also purchased last summer from Massey's. I love how black and coral match so perfectly so I was super happy with the way this outfit came together. This is the perfect outfit for church or a relaxing day of strolling through town while wanting to remain dressy yet comfortable. This was my mother's day outfit that I wore to church to be with my mom. 👵 To change it up you can wear wedges or heels and a longer tucked in top.
