Blue And White Peasant Dress

Happy Sunday! I hope you're enjoying your fourth of July holiday weekend. I've been having a blast! I have the day off and I'm certainly making the most of it haha. I just got back from attending a BBQ at the park with some friends and the last couple of days I've been super busy as well but I wanted to be sure to take some time today and share with you an awesome dress I found last weekend. This dress would be a great addition to any fashionistas summer wardrobe...

I found this beautiful dress while shopping at Sears last weekend and I was super excited when I tried it on and it fit so perfectly. I love the retro look and not only is the style of the dress super retro but the pattern is as well. If I'm not mistaken I think my mom had a house dress with a similar pattern back in the day. Not only is this dress totally adorable but it also flows perfectly over my frame and blows in the wind which makes it such an amazing find for me. Not to mention it has the cutest bell sleeves ever and the material is super lightweight so it's great for those hot summer nights. It was also on sale for less than $16 so I was extremely happy when I left the store that day haha. So how did I style this cutie?...

I wanted to mix retro with modern so instead of pairing this dress with a pair of wedges like I normally would I decided to wear my trusty white sandals that I also got from Sears several years back. Wearing this outfit made me feel so young and carefree and I'm totally fine with that. If you want to go full retro then of course you want to wear a cute pair of wedges or even an adorable pair of lace up flats. To recreate my look you can click on the links below. I've also linked a similar pair of sandals below since these exact ones are no longer available...

Dress: same / plus similar
Sandals: similar

Isn't this retro dress super cute? Do you like how I styled it? How would you style it differently? Sandals, wedges, or flats? Which one would you choose? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions so leave me a comment and Iet me know what you think. I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend and happy shopping.

  7. What a lovely dress! The colors and material truly are perfect for summer. I haven't been to Sears in years. In fact they recently closed the one in our area because of competition with other department stores...I'll have to visit their website soon to see what's new...

    1. Thanks Krista😊 Sears has actually gone down as far as clothing goes in the last several years but every so often I'll find something really cute like this dress. Hopefully you find something super awesome😉
