Tigress' Picks Of The Week

Happy Thursday 😃 It's my last night of work for the week so I'm super excited to get this day started and get to my weekend! What are your plans for the weekend? Are you doing any shopping? 🛍 If so I have the perfect store for you! This was my first time ever shopping at this store and I was not disappointed. So what store am I talking about?

H&M
I've heard of H&M from friends and co-workers and of course I've seen the ads in fashion magazines but I've never been to the actual store before. The main reason for this is because the closest one to me is about a 2 hour round trip drive and most of the time I'd rather hit up something closer. But, after seeing a co-workers awesome jeans from there and hearing about the great deals they have I decided to make the long journey to see what the hype is all about. I did not expect this store to be as huge as it was. Wow!! 🤑 Just when I thought I was at the end there was another corner and the store kept on going. Not that I'm complaining though. It was a very nice surprise. There are many different styles to choose from here including misses and juniors and even men's and kids. The only issue I have is sizing. Most of the items I took into the dressing room were way too small so I asked the dressing room associate what was up with that and apparently H&M is sized to European standards. I really wish they would advertise this a little better so people wouldn't be taken by surprise 😯 So, my advice to you is get at least one to two sizes bigger than what you normally wear. There were so many things I wanted to take into the dressing room with me but I had to restrain myself so I ended up with 11 items to try on and share with you 🙄 I've linked the items below that are available online so you can easily find any of these beauties that catch your eye. I was a little sad that many of these items didn't fit because of the sizing issue but I hate going back and forth to a dressing room so I only chose from the few that did fit. My absolute favorite picks were the burgundy lace tank, the blue mixed pattern tank dress, and the light pink floral tank dress. It was a really hard decision between the three but ultimately I chose the light pink dress even though it was the most expensive.
