Black Floral Shirt Dress

*This post contains affiliate links*
Hey everyone and happy Sunday! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty nice. I didn't really do a whole lot except grocery shopping and church, but now it's time for me to head back to work. NOOOOO!!! Hopefully this week goes by fast because I have a movie/shopping date with one of my girlfriends Friday and I'm really looking forward to it. We are going to see the new Blair Witch so it should be a little scary and exciting at the same time. LOL Did you get a chance to read Friday's post about the benefits of being a shopaholic? If not you should check it out HERE. It's meant to be a lighthearted and fun post but yet it's so true. For all my shopaholic fashionistas out there I have found the cutest dress that I want to share with you. It's such a beautiful dress that can be worn now, if like me it's still very much summer where you live, and for the fall season as well. So what is this dress and where can you get one?

The Dress
I found this dress while on my recent shopping trip to G by Guess and I fell in love with it. Not only is it absolutely beautiful but it's very versatile as well and for less than $55 it wasn't a bad buy. Depending on what shoes you pair it with you can look dressy or casual so it will work for both the office and a lunch date with friends. I love all the little details of this dress. The gold toned grommets at the V neck, the cuffed sleeves, and the cinched drawstring waist all give this dress a little something extra to make it stand out and get noticed. It's also extremely comfortable so you don't have to worry about feeling too restricted. I wore this beauty to church and out shopping and I felt super comfy and pretty :) So how did I style this dress and how can you style it differently?

My Style
Since I was wearing this dress to church I wanted to be a little on the dressy side so I decided to wear my new pair of black heels from Shoe Dazzle that I love so much! These killer heels are quickly becoming my favorite pair that I own and I'll try to wear them as often as possible especially for the upcoming fall season. If you don't like wearing heels a cute pair of wedges will look great as well and would still be dressy. If you'd rather go for a more casual look then grab a pair of sandals or ballet flats. Both would look super cute with this dress. So how would you dress this up for fall? The sleeves are already pretty long so I doubt you'll need a jacket with this one, but a beautiful solid colored scarf would look amazing. I'd wear a purple or blue one to make the colors in the dress pop. Also, wearing a nice pair of booties will make this an insta fall outfit. No matter how you style this beauty make sure you own it ;)

Isn't this dress adorable? How would you style it differently? Heels, wedges, sandals, or ballet flats? Which would you choose? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your friends. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy shopping :)

    1. Thank you❤ I always wear heels with tight dresses too but I love wearing then with other dresses as well. I almost wore sandals with it but loved the heels more when I tried them on with it.

  7. Lovely dress... I think it is perfect for Autumn... the colours are toned down and you can easily roll your sleeves down during cooler days.
I would definitely wear it with flats just because I can't wear heels, lol.

  8. I love shirt dresses. Oftentimes they're kind of plain and solid colored, so I love the fun pattern with this one!

    1. Thanks Justine❤ I agree some shirt dresses are boring and even this one comes in a couple of other colors that are plain. I love the floral pattern since it gives the outfit some life and it's really pretty πŸ˜‰
