Grey And Pink Cold Shoulder Top

Happy hump day!! It's hard to believe it's already Wednesday, but that's probably because I was off the first two days of the work week for jury selection. It ended up being a murder trial so I'm extremely thankful I didn't get picked to sit on the jury. I don't like having the fate of someone's life in my hands. I don't know about you but I don't want that responsibility.  It's really easy to say how you feel about certain situations or cases until you're actually there. Well all I can do now is hope and pray that the jury comes to the right decision. Ok, now that my small rant is over I'd like to talk about something fun. Since I find shopping super fun I'll tell you about an awesome top I found a few weeks back that is now on sale for less than $15!! So, what is this top and where can you snag one?

The Top
I first saw this top at American Eagle Outfitters a few weeks back and I fell in love with it almost immediately. The beautiful colors are what grabbed my attention in the first place. It goes from a pretty grey on the top then lightens up to a light pink on the bottom. It actually reminds me of the ombre hair color that everyone was obsessed with for like a minute. The next thing I noticed was it was a cold shoulder top and I love these so much. Not only are they super popular right now, but they look so great on just about everyone. The last thing I noticed was how soft the material was. This is one of those tops you just wanna wrap yourself up in :) This top fits so well and is so comfortable I promise you won't want to take it off! Sadly this color is no longer available online so I linked a pretty wine color below. You may be able to locate this exact top at the actual store. So how did I end up styling this cutie and how can you style it differently?

My Style
This top is pretty casual and I wanted to stick to that theme so I paired this cutie with a pair of skinny jeans from Hollister and my awesome new ankle boots from Walmart. These jeans are so comfortable. I love how they are super stretchy but not overly tight. I've linked this exact pair below. And what can I say about these ankle boots??I've been searching for a great pair of black ankle boots but I had no idea I would find them at Walmart! I was so happy when I saw the price tag for these cuties was less than $20. Where else are you going to find ankle boots that cheap that actually look great and fit right? I couldn't find these exact boots online so they may only be sold in the store but I linked a very similar pair for you. I wore this outfit for a casual Sunday spent shopping with my sweetie. To change it up a bit you could wear some cute wedges or a nice pair of sandals. Also, if it gets too chilly a blue jean jacket or black moto jacket would look super cute with this top.

Isn't this top adorable? How would you style it differently? Ankle boots, wedges, or sandals? Which one would you choose? I'd love to hear from you so leave me a comment and let me know what you think. Be sure to spread the love by sharing this post with all your fashionista friends. I hope you enjoy the rest of this beautiful hump day and happy shopping :)

  2. That top looks great on you! I don't have any cold shoulder tops, but and I know it sounds silly, I'm afraid to because I get cold all the time! I think I'd just have to wear a sweater over it.

    1. Thanks Beth ❤ that doesn't sound silly at all. Maybe you can get one on sale and try it out. That way you didn't spend too much on it if it doesn't work out. That's what I try to do with new styles 😉
